This is our 2nd time coming here. We really love this place. It is very handicap accessible. The fall is absolutely beautiful. They have restrooms and a visitor center a snack bar and funnel cake food truck. Lots of parking too. We stayed at a nearby campground so it was really easy to drive the 5 miles to get there and have a great time.

My fiance and I have camped here in a tent twice now and we see new stuff every time. This place is BEAUTIFUL and enjoyable. Staff is super friendly. Excellent place to camp and see beautiful places. Most people don't realize a place like this exists in Kentucky. We always have fun here.

Beautiful view from the top of the falls is an easy walk from the parking lot. Some stairs to get to the better viewing areas. Park is well-maintained. Clean bathrooms. Snacks and treats are available at a reasonable price. Great family destination.We did not stay on the grounds. Just drove through and hiked the falls for an hour or so.

First the good. Such a beautiful place and love the trails and views. Highly recommend if you haven't been. The not so good. The cottage rooms were not very clean and the mattress was horrendous. The breakfast at the lodge was all overcooked on the buffet.The other most confusing/aggravating thing is you can't even wade in the shallow river water. $1000 fine and 10 days jail? So generic. Thanks KY.

Wonderful Lodge! The room was clean, and the furnishings were fine. Towels were soft and fluffy. The only issue was that the door stuck a bit when trying to get into the room. I love old buildings and a sticky door didn't put me off. The park was fabulous! Hiked over 10 miles the first day.

Handicap accessible! A friend was complaining about the lack of availability of handicap accessible accommodations, pretty much everywhere. I showed her pictures of our cabin, and she was excited. Not perfect, but doorways wide enough, sinks you can roll up to in a wheelchair, and a bathroom large enough to turn around in.The hike to the falls from the cabin area is challenging but fun. Several other trails around that area were also pleasant. For the physically challenged, we were able to park near the falls, and it's an easy walk/wheelchair trip on paved roads to several nice overlooks.Breakfast was about what you get at nicer hotels, not perfect but adequate . The view from the dining room more than makes up for any disappointment.We've been twice, stayed in a cabin both times, found the staff and cabins quite nice. Much better than a hotel, in my opinion.Do some research and you'll find plenty to do nearby if the park isn't enough to entertain you. We've kayaked with Sheltowee Trace Adventures, ridden the South Big Fork Railroad, hiked at the Natural Bridge and several waterfalls much smaller than Cumberland, and found local shops and diners to round out the fun.

We got married in the grassy area adjacent to the Great waterfall 10 years ago. The park is pretty. I am told if you go during a full moon, you might see a moon- rainbow originating from the tiny droplets scattered by the falls. The restaurant is very nice. Pay attention to the location of boulders, they are in specific places below the waterfall only, due to erosion.

Beautiful state park. The waterfall is gorgeous. This is one of the only places in the world where “moon bows” can be viewed. Plenty of hiking trails. The main area to the falls is an easy walk and ADA accessible. The have a gift shop, snack shop and bathrooms.

Not to be confused with Cumberland Falls State Park, the resort park is where there is a lodge, cabins, cottages, RV sites, and camping spots available to stay at overnight. We were in a Woodland Cottage for two nights. The cottages are old and need some updating. The beds are comfortable but are covered with plastic mattress pad covers. A little too crinkly for me. There’s a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Not enough hot water for more than one shower. You’ll have to wait an hour for the water to heat up again. The Woodland Cottages are directly to the left of the lodge parking lot when you enter off the road. You sign in and get your room keys at the lodge. (This is down the road from the entrance to the falls and visitor center.) Make sure to go to the balcony at the lodge that overlooks the river. The fall colors are magnificent! A great photo spot. For fall foliage reference, we were there Oct. 18-20, 2022. The desk staff and housekeeping were very nice.

The falls were beautiful. The trails were well kept and enjoyable. Booked a stay in one of the cottages, but when we got there, they said none were available, but that they had available rooms in the lodge, so we took one of those instead. The room itself was ok, however it's not very soundproof. The ceiling creaked whenever someone moved in the room upstairs and we could hear all of conversations in the hall outside.

The park is a convenient location near interstate 75, We did not stay at the Inn or eat there. The campgrounds are very small, so pay attention to the size of your RV since two that we drove through were dead end streets, where you can't circle around and look at all the sites if you're trying to pick the best one for your rig and the time of the year.The hike from our camp site was really enjoyable, ending up at the falls, which are spectacular. We visited the park in early June, so the falls were really rolling. Likely if it's a dry summer, they say the falls will not be very pretty.

I am dad. And stayed with my two daughters. One is 9 and the other is 4. They loved the hotel, the views, the pool. I liked the clean bathrooms, towels provided at the pool, all the hikes in the park. Is an older lodge. But it appears to be maintained very well. I loved!!!! The attention. The staff was very top notch with me and my girls

This is our third time visiting the park. We drive up from Florida on our way to visit my son in Southern Indiana. I love this park . It's so laid back and has lots of activities. They have a lodge and cabins along with camping. We stayed in the cabins . The area is quiet and so relaxing. We like to hike so there is plenty of trails that offer beautiful scenery. I will definitely be back again .

Stayed in 1 bedroom cabin, steps away from 2 trails. The falls are spectacular no matter the weather or time of year. It was cool and a bit rainy, but the hikes were wonderful. The Parks Naturalist, G, was a great guide on our trip to the fire tower. Kudos to her lessons and knowledge on how to protect wildlife and the sustainability of nature itself.

Stayed in one of the single queen cottages. We have stayed here multiple times before and we love it. Lodge restaurant is open and the food and service was great. There are multiple trails around the park and you can make an entire day out of hitting the trails.The campground is not really designed for large campers. I would say any camper over 25' will have issues in most sites.Overall, great State park and highly recommended.

My family has so many good memories here at the Falls going back to the 70s when my grandparents would bring us here. Now to bring my own family down over the recent years is a great continuation of a family tradition! We will always love it and the sites and places we visit along the way!!

Wonderful trail to different levels of the Falls. You can see a little or a lot. There is an upper trail, but you have to go down steps at end to really see the Falls. The store there is Great!! Lots of samples of area crafts & lotions & food.

I can see why this place doesn't get much business it is way out and no swimming is allowed price per room is pretty high for just a small No-Frills room. The breakfast was awesome although coffee had grounds in it and they did not refill the fruit basket at all once it was gone it was gone first come first serve. The falls were really muddy the day that we visited

We took a detour on our way to northern Kentucky to visit the Falls. It was a very we'll laid out place and there were plenty of places to stand and see the Falls. We parked right at the Falls and didn't have to hike any long trails to get to the Falls. We like to go to see waterfalls and this was one of the best ones that we have seen. It's definitely worth the time and effort to visit.

Like always .loved it never realized why my dad always wanted to come down here. Once I got here I realized why .the beauty alone is breath taking just sitting by the falls or walking the trails. Your at one with nature not trying to sound corny. But yeah oneof the most beautiful places I've ever been in my 44yrs on earth. And the lords will I'll be heading back down often.

We used campsite 28. It is 150 ft away from the showers. The showers are the best we have ever used in any campsite in any state we have been in. It is in a heated building. There are pegs to hang up close. There is a seat. Separate curtains for the shower and for the dressing area. The hot water and cold water valve are separate The large shower head has a shut off. I did not get soaked while waiting for the hot water to start. There are two family bathrooms complete with showers. Fabulous experience.

Stayed in a cabin this past weekend and had a great time. The cabin was very nice and clean, everything needed provided. We ate breakfast and dinner at the resort. We got the buffet both times and had no regrets, great food. I’ve wanted to stay in one of these cabins since I was a child, finally did and will be back to do it again!

We stayed in the resort. The room was spacious and overlooked the river. It was a little dated but not for the price. I loved the history and the huge fireplace. But my favorite was the patio that gave an amazing view of the river below.

We stayed at the lodge and hiked the falls, what a gorgeous place! Seems like a hidden gem (though we were there off-season). Parking is plentiful, at the picnic area and the falls. Gift shop offers thousands of options in a range of budgets, and the employees were very knowledgeable of the area.Make it a day trip or a family vacation, there's plenty to do!

First of all, Cumberland Falls is gorgeous and well worth a road trip.I'm not sold on the resort, but it was nice to bring our doggie companion. It's $30 to bring pets to stay in the lodge and $50 in the cabins.My friend and I got a double queen room in the lodge "with a view". The view, unfortunately, was of their patio.It is a nice patio, and you can see plenty of sky, but if you're on the first level, people can definitely just look into your room, so keep those shades drawn. The view from the actual patio is very beautiful.The bathroom was large and accommodating. They had dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. They also provide a safety bar on the interior wall. It is quite a large tub, with high walls. There was also a hair dryer in our bathroom, though we never used it.There was a small but reasonable area to hang and store items. They also provided a iron and ironing board.You can hear people walking around on the floor above you. Bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.The room was very cramped, the set up seemed illogical. The dresser was impossible to use. I would not call this a wheel chair accessible resort. There are lots of stairs, everywhere.The laundry seemed very clean and fresh.The worst issue we had was there was someone else's food left in the room. And the ice bucket was greasy and dusty. The lights also flicker a lot upon entrance, so if you have any issues with blinking lights, you may want to turn on the lights and wait outside of your room for a moment.Also if you have any dietary restrictions you better tell them well in advance. The complimentary breakfast doesn't necessarily include food you can eat. We were there on a slow day, so no buffet. They were out of waffles and fruit. Their juice machine had a funky taste about it.

Do not rent cabin 502. Smoke damage from the fire place. Tried to air the small out, all the windows latches and cranks broken. Missing grout in both bathrooms with black mold growing in the cracks. Would not give state workers a break. No electric for a day and a half. Bachup generator did not work.

I just visited the falls, I didn't rent a room. The area where your allowed to view the falls from is pretty close to the parking lot. Very easy to walk to. They have several places for you to view the falls from with slightly different views of it. I wish you were allowed to walk up the falls like you can some other parks, but your not allowed. They have hiking trails that are fairly easy to enjoy. They have a little sand place. The restrooms are very clean. It's a really nice place to take your family to.

It is an old hotel which could use some updating of the bathrooms. The mattresses were so comfortable so I am happy with their decision to improve those. It's a state park hotel and we love to support our state parks. The free breakfast was great. We were here for a honeymoon and to see the moon bow. The hiking around the park was great. We rode horses and saw the moonbow!!! It was a great trip. Food was good. I would only work to update the bathrooms. Oh and the Internet was out the entire time we were there which made it hard to get in touch with our kids.:)

So beautiful to visit. And lots to do! We saw 🦌 deer all around. Great hiking around the lake. Disc ⛳️ golf can be fun, I however was not good at it. The Lake is beautiful. The Lodge has great food, just check for hours and food options, the Buffett is very good.

Pretty cool to walk this bridge. There's also a nice outdoor artificial waterfall about Indian Trail of Tears nearby. Bridge overlooks an island & has a nice park on the far end away from the city. Also beautiful at night. Even caught a couple musicians! It's a little hard to get to but if you pay close attention to GPS you can find a path to it.

Nice view over the river. Had a couple of buskers playing music & lots of dog friends. Safe for the family. There’s a lot of interesting history to read about too. I recommend stopping by to check it out if you’re in the area! The downtown life is great in the area too.

It's a really beautiful bridge but currently could use some TLC as far as paint and rotting wood. But it's a fantastic way to get some exercise and get from Bluff View/the art museum to the fun shops on Frazier. Don't sleep on the Ice Cream Show on the downtown side and all the sculptures in the area.

I enjoyed walking on this historic bridge. Beautiful views of the river and the city!! Plenty of restaurants, shops, gift shops, nearby parks and outdoor art displays such as in the Bluff View Art District are accessible via the Walnut Street Bridge. You can get to the local museums and learn about the local history from the art displayed throughout the area including in Coolidge Park located on the North Shore. I was able to see the Ed Johnson Memorial as well and took some time to learn and reflect. I highly recommend a stroll across the bridge and taking some time to take in the scenic views.

I enjoyed walking the Walnut Street Bridge. I've never walked along a major pedestrian bridge before, so this was a cool experience. Lots of people. There's also a bridge parallel to this one that both cars & pedestrians use. Walnut Street Bridge is cooler looking though. Good times 👍

Perfect pedestrian bridge for people (and fur babies) of all ages. The views all of the way around are beautiful! During the fall/winter, it can be a bit breezy and cold, but with a coat on, we were all still very comfortable. It is taken care of well and you learn a lot as you walk!

Nice bridge to walk across the river. There is not much scenery from either end, so I am not sure the wow factor or if this is a must do in the area, but it’s a decent walk that will take less than 30 minutes both ways.

Very cool bridge only made for pedestrians. This pretty much connects two different areas of the city that are extremely different. You could easily travel from the aquarium, across the river by this bridge. Lots of things to see and it's not too far of a walk. Once you cross there are lots of little shops and restaurants to explore and a beautiful park underneath the bridge.

Great area to walk during the day and great views at night. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Nice architecture throughout downtown.

Gorgeous bridge and easy walk, very safe and good views. There is good busking--one guitarist I stopped for played with bell harmonics. On the north side there is a cool bookshop, giftstore, and other places to stop in before turning around (if coming from the south like I was).My *biggest* recommendation is to come here to watch sunrise. Absolutely beautiful, worth the early waking, no ragrets.

Great pedestrian, walking bridge. Lots of people, bikes, and dogs. Easy to walk across and went to the park nearby. Overall a good walk and good experience.

This bridge is in the upperclass part of downtown Chattanooga. The tourist attraction is biker and pedestrian friendly. You’ll often find people busking and sometimes artists on the bridge.

What’s good? No vehicles allowed–making it an excellent stroll for pedestrians. The wooden deck is aesthetically pleasing–it looks, sounds, and feels good. With both the original road deck and sidewalks available, it is generally not crowded–plenty of room for everyone.What’s bad? While the wooden deck is fun for pedestrians, I would imagine this to be an uncomfortable ride for cyclists.Overall, this is a fun bridge to cross and is an asset for the city.

This is most beautiful bridge I have ever seen and walked end to end.We also waited to see the sunset with ice cream. You can buy the ice cream from the corner shop at the start of the bridge. The bridge is quite old and it’s maintained well. Sitting chair with multiple dustbins available for trash. Very clean and great place for photo shoot and hangout.Loved the bridge. Parking is free after 6 with coin parking street areas near to the bridge.

The best time to visit this historical landmark is right before sundown. Leave your car in the Coolidge Park area and enjoy a stroll across the bridge as the colors change from orange glow to glittering city lights. If you work up an appetite there are many places to eat at the end of the Market Street bridge.

This is must see! Love Love Love!!! Beautiful walk on a very creative trail between boulders, over bridges, above bluffs and waterfalls, crisscrossing in imaginative ways. The overlook view of the valley below is breathtaking. Right to left you can see almost 180 degrees. You really can see 7 states. The walk is worth the time and visit. It is a great family adventure, with the walk ending in Fairyland Caverns. The park is not without gift shops and restaurants. One thing that’s good to know about this place is that if you take your time exploring this place, any amount of crowd will pass you by and you will have a moment or two to yourself to take it all in. And the mother goose/fairy gardens is worth seeing even as an adult, it’s fun to take a trip down memory lane to your childhood. More importantly, you escape the heat because it’s air conditioned!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a good view, likes a little adventure and is able to maneuver stairs, ramps and bridges and maybe a surprise or two.

So this is our first visit from Bristol Tn/Va and this place is Gorgeous! The views were amazing and the Gardens are awesome with a cool backstory of the founders and amazing art and engineering to create such a magical place!They also have a cafe with alcohol beer&wine you can take with your around the park you can even buy an a tire bottle of wine but you have to finish before you leave the park!They also have wine tastings that are free!Free parking it wasn’t bad neither was the crowds in as we went last week of July and the first week of august!Prices for a family of 6 was like $151 and some change but well worth the experience I highly recommend to stop and check this place out!

Drove 5 hours to go camping and see this place! If you are thinking about it, DO IT! It’s worth it and pictures don’t do it justice.They have adorable little gift shops, the food isn’t anything crazy but the little cafe on the edge of a cliff with that view makes sitting down for a bite mid-way worth it.You’ll spend atleast 3 hours here walking and enjoying it. Everytime I thought it was about to end it got better. If you have low stamina there are exit pathways throughout but if you can make it through its worth it. It’s nothing too demanding, but there are some tight spots here and there that may not be so friendly for my thicker ladies.I recommend coming during a weekday if possible, If it was any more busy it would have made it hard to get nice pictures and just take my time and enjoy it all.They’re also dog friendly! This is a perfect little couple date but it’s a place you will want to revisit again with family.

This is a really neat place. Very peaceful to walk around. It has soft, whimsical music playing as you walk through the area. The view of the city is amazing. You could spend an easy two hours here. The place is pretty big. Be prepared for walking. It would not be easy in all areas for anyone with a wheelchair. It does have quite a bit of stairs but they are easy stairs. We never got out of breath the entire time walking there. It's definitely worth the admission price. They have food, drinks and gift shops located throughout.

Such a fun experience! The views are gorgeous from the top! We ate at the cafe located on top and had the most beautiful views for lunch. We went at the best time, during the week in the middle of the day, so it was extremely peaceful because hardly anyone was around. If you’re in the area, this is a must. Perfect for everyone. Couples, families, and even dogs since it’s pet friendly here.

We took our two dogs here for a day trip and loved it! The staff were super friendly and greeted us and our dogs when we got there. We didn't know what to expect and were surprised at how much we enjoyed it. It's not a long walk, but there is plenty to look at. I love the creative ways they formed the rocks. The fairy cavern was also very interesting (and a little creepy)! The dogs seemed to enjoy it, too,and that made the trip worth it. I recommend going early in the morning (we did 0830). It was nice to get there before the crowd and be able to take pictures without a lot of people in the background.

Super fun! Reminded me of being in the movie Labyrinth with David Bowie! It was better than i had hoped, and seemed like a magical place. My families favorite was the rock gardens! The gift shops didnt have anything that really felt as cool the place if that makes sense. Overall, it was well worth the cost and we will definitely come back!

This is our second of many future visits to this incredible place of joy, inspiration, and true beauty! We were vacationing with our family and had the pleasure of bringing our 3 year old grandson along for the trip.He loved every part of this trip. Every step was filled with adventure, excitement and joy. He didn’t want to leave. He especially enjoyed the Aesops Fable land as well as all of the great sites.The staff is friendly. The facility and paths are clean and well maintained. And the price is very affordable.We definitely are coming back again.

Rock City Gardens was a disappointingly expensive tourist trap. While the rock formations, the falls, and the views are beautiful (when it isn’t foggy and humid), everything else is a sore. There’s constant music playing to sound “whimsical” but instead interrupt any enjoyment of the nature. The “fairy tale cave” is musty and full of dusty sculptures into the rocks depicting old fairy tales that gave me trouble breathing because of the mustiness. Weird art litters the rest of the experience. It took us 45 minutes to get through a “tour” that is supposed to take 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We got there at opening at 8:30 on a Saturday and it already had a number of people there; by 9:30 when we left it was already packed. The coolest parts were the rope bridge, the falls, and the concrete overlook as well as the entryway into the goblin caverns. The rock formations are truly beautiful, and it’s no wonder the original owners went with this fairy tale theme as you make your way through the mystical and twisted rocks; but the theme did not enhance but detracted from the beauty. Overall, there isn’t much to write home about here. Much more money can be spent inside in gift shops and cafes and wine tastings, but the $30+ entry price does not validate spending any more money there. Maybe if it was $5 with all of the additional bells and whistles you can add, it would be worth a walk through and a stop; but not $30+.

Such a fun, quirky place! Not difficult to walk at all. Unbelievable views from the top! Just a couple narrow passages between rock formations. Most people can squeeze through without touching by turning sideways. Maybe 24-30 inches wide? Caves had pretty lights and fun little fairy tale scenes lit up. Fun for kids and adults! Really glad we went! Buy tickets in advance! We bought them the day before and they were sold out the next day.

We took 3 grandchildren-14,10,8. We ended up here because Ruby Falls had sold out the days worth of tickets at 12:30. Picked up a pamphlet on Rock City and decided to go. It was absolutely amazing- the views are breathtaking, the walk through mother goose display and gnomes were very well done. The kids and adults all loved the experience- we spent 2 hours there. Would highly recommend A+ experience.

This experience was so great! I had a great a few wonderful times! There are many different things to do and buy at rock city gardens. It's such a great trail all paved and not too rocky, just right.

While visiting Southeast Tennessee, I had heard of three attractions that were nearby: Ruby Falls, Rock City Gardens, and the Incline Railway. I had purchased tickets in advance for the Incline Railway and while up there, I asked a staff member their thoughts on Rock City, her comment was “it’s the best of all three and it has a lot to do in it”.We were not disappointed, you walk following a trail, so it is quite organized, as well as having to be there at a certain time and buying a ticket for that certain time due to its nature of following a pathway.Very good sites being able to see a nice landscape and view of seven different states, enormous boulders, a lot of natural decoration, and it ends with the best kind of a tiny park of kids’ stories of our youth, which are created in a dark area with black lights, so it enhances its beauty.There’s an area also of gnomes.Take good walking shoes, very interesting and I highly recommend it.It did not disappoint!

This' place is so amazing. The trail is easy to follow, the views are amazing. Lots of Rick bridges, you walk under and over and through things. It's so fun. The waterfall is beautiful. There's plenty of bathrooms and a place to eat or grab a new water 1/2 way through. We stopped and took our time we spent about 3 hours here. We had a great time. Two adults. But this is a family friendly adventure.

Amazing experience amidst a peaceful and magical landscape all leading to some fabulous views from the top of Lookout Mountain. Parking is free and plentiful and the entry process was easy. There is actually a Starbucks across the street. So many neat little treasures and spaces to find along the walk with easy paths and bridges and great sights around every corner. Kids will love this, especially Fairyland at the end. There is a great cafe and some relaxing seating and benches throughout. Would definitely visit again.

Prepare to come to this place and take your time. There is so much to see! There are many many steps. We brought our two dogs and they did great. If your puppy or company doesn’t do well with stairs, heights and tight spaces you might not get to experience all the fascinating stuff this place has to offer. We went first this in the morning at the end of June. It was perfect temperature and less crowded. There are drink vending machines and cafes if you don’t bring your own refreshments. I’ll definitely be back!

Best place to visit if you're in Chattanooga, the view it's worth it. I would say it's not stroller friendly if you plan to take your little one, we got a baby carrier and it was helpful. Some areas are a tight squeeze so be careful with kids. Overall my family and I loved this place and would love to come back and visit.

We had a great time. Tickets have to be purchased online in advance. I would recommend booking a time after 6 PM so it is dark. We went on a weekday and got the discount for weekday visits. We spent about 3 hours there.There is an enclosed area to sit, drink hot chocolate, and warm up a little bit if it is cold. We had dinner before going, but they do have food service available.If you enjoy Christmas lights and family fun, then I recommend you put a visit to Rock City's Enchanted Garden of Lights on you to do list.

Living in the Chattanooga area, the majority of my life, Rock City, isn't a new experience for me. I have been there several times. However, fall is definitely my favorite time to visit. All of the fall colors never disappoint! Even the drive up the mountain is absolutely beautiful this time of year.The park is always in immaculate condition. It is well taken care of. The employees have always been cordial and professional even though the majority of them are high school/college age young adults.The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because the cost to actually get into the park is, in my opinion, way too expensive. It is $26 for an adult and around $16 for children. Although I understand that it takes money to keep the park looking as beautiful as it always does and also pay the employees, I think that they probably could come up with a way to cut the price of the tickets so more people can enjoy it. There were several employees there who were not really doing anything. Maybe not have so many employees working to cut payroll and, in return, cut the admission price. There can't be that much overhead for a park.I just find it unfortunate that there are families who can't afford to take a trip where they can enjoy the day together, learn about nature and have the opportunity to teach young children to appreciate and respect nature and the animals that call it home.

I don't remember how I came across Rock City, but it was added on my want to do list on Google maps. We are traveling back from spring break. Rock City just happened to be the halfway point. We thought it'd be a great idea to stop here stretch our legs and check things out. Rock City did not disappoint. The walkways were very well maintained. The one way path was pretty easy to follow. The views very great. A lot of work went into the fairy caverns. I enjoyed the sculptures and decorations along the path. My only "complaint" is that tickets we're a little more than I would have liked to pay. Overall, I'm happy we made the stop.

Excellent Panoramic views of TN, NC and GA (and others)! The Rock gardens were amazing and well laid out....my wife and I had a wonderful time following all the trails, viewing the beautiful gardens and waterfalls, enjoying the amazing sculptures and exhibits (Fairytale Hall was amazing!) and loved the views from the swinging bridge, lookout point, lover's leap, the falls, and others! We could have spent the entire day exploring and enjoying the scenery and well designed exhibits. The food and drink options were great as well! We will be back with our grandson for sure!

I wasn't sure this place would be worth the cost of the ticket, but my family and I ended up having a great time doing Rock City. I didn't realize there was such an elaborate historical setup (Fairyland and Mother Goose...world or something).One of the funniest things I saw (you can see in my pictures) was a statue giving us the bird. No really, it's reaching out with a bird in its hand...color me immature, but I found it hilarious.My sense of humor aside, the view was beautiful and there's a cafe on top where you can order adult beverages or non-alcoholic...plus a cafe with food...so you can eat and drink while enjoying a fabulous view.The rocky structures in the beginning were beautiful, but really, there's so much more to this place. It has a lot of interesting details, quirky music and sights. Kind of reminded me of my childhood again when I got to Fairyland and saw scenes of classic children's stories.Oh, one of my favorite things to see was the walls full of quartz. That was beautiful!I'd like to go back again sometime when I have the chance and spend a little more time lingering. It was a rainy cold day when we went so we tried to hustle through the outdoor portions quickly.My dad sped up particularly quick when making his way through "The Squeeze", a narrow path through the boulders. As long as you can tolerate a narrow space for a short distance you'll be fine.My dad has claustrophobia and a fear of heights and still survived/had a good time...and that was in spite of my brother and I trying to toss him off the 7 states viewing platform. Not to worry, we'll get him next time.I'd recommend checking this place out. In a way, it kind of summarizes the essence of the Chattanooga area. Great views, rocks, cute water features, a waterfall, history, quirky art, good times. I don't think you'd regret it unless you can't appreciate art, geology, scenic views, spending money on tickets...that kind of thingHave a wonderful time! 👋

The garden is beautiful! It was nothing like we expected. You walk through the site upon laid paths. It gets tight is some areas! Food is cheaper at Lovers Leap. It can get congested and crowded. All in all it was beautiful and fun for the kids. Would also recommend repurchasing tickets. We were able to just walk in without a wait.

Beautiful grounds and a lot of fun walking through the stone features. Would have been a five but the Fairyland Caverns are in strong need of some love. I have to admit though, outside of that this is a great place for photographers.

Love this place and they are totally dog friendly. We visited here in February of 2023 and again last night.There’s a limited event called Flora Luna and it was really fun. You have to purchase tickets online before you attend. The park opened at 7:00pm and they offered small bites, wine, beer, and co*cktails at stations throughout the park.When the sun went down the park was illuminated with several lights and they piped in zen like music. Definitely a chill relaxing evening as we sipped wine on the overlook and waited for the sun to go down.Well done everyone Rock City!!!

Such a beautiful experience! A great place for adults and children. So much detail was put into fairyland caverns! Definitely take an opportunity to visit here one day. Amazing views and the swing a long bridge is also a great bonus! We really enjoyed ourselves and it consumed most of our day. Lots of walking and there are restaurants around, but we didn’t eat. They have smoking areas and it is pet friendly. The restrooms were ok and there are shops around that you can buy all the things. We certainly plan to come back!

Beautiful, tranquil, and serene! It's my new favorite place!Most of my pictures are from the night time event Flora Luna, a special event must see if you get the chance. But even in daylight I was amazed at the beautiful stone paths and many views!

As a young boy I would see signs along the freeway with just 3 simple words. 'See Rock City'. Nothing more and nothing less. That was pure mystique to me, and I have wanted to SEE it almost my whole natural life. Well, today I finally got to See Rock City, and even though the skies were gray and overcast, it was still absolutely wonderful. It was everything 10 year old me could have ever hoped to be, and was still awe inspiring to the adult me. If you live in the region, then I STRONGLY recommend going to See Rock City if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed, I promise you. We are already looking forward to going back this Summer.

A definite must see when in the area and worth making a trip JUST to see Rock City! Beautiful views, amazing boulders, and cool art. Don’t miss the Hall of the Mountain King sculpture. Several people walked right past it. So many flowers blooming and the water features were lovely as well.

Had a wonderful time at Rock City! It is definitely a must-see! We didn't know what to expect but we all had a wonderful time. The views, gardens, art, history, and displays are all incredible and one-of-a-kind making for a super cool experience! My parents, husband, 13 yo daughter and I all enjoyed Rock City immensely and will be going back next year. Make the stop - you won't be disappointed!

My experience was amazing. This was my 1st time ever rafting. The staff was friendly and informative. They show us our safety guideline prior to our ride up to the rafts. Our guide James was very great. He was knowledgeable about was needed to keep us in the boat. Also you get great photos of our experience.

This is the best white water rafting tour around!! We have now gone a few times and every time has been an incredible adventure story lol. Shelley is the best guide ever hands down! But all of the guides there are amazing an experienced. You feel excited and safe and having fun all at the same time. They start out by giving you an intro class and teach you how to do the paddles etc. Then you board the bus and ride down to the entrance at the river. The lunch they serve is pretty good too and they even offer a veggie option. There is also a really fun part before lunch where you swim and float down the river. The water gets colder as the season ends, we went the second time on last day of the season. But what an incredible ride.The first time we conquered the Godzilla rapid was unreal and the second time too. If you stay on the raft or if you flip you will be well prepared and it will be an adventure of a lifetime. We cannot wait to go back next year! They also take pictures the entire time so you have the option to buy one or all of them at the end. Team Kenny!

Candace was a great guide with lots of experience on the river. She took us through the rapids making my boat of novices feel like pros. High Country was great to deal with on the phone (called them instead of booking through Groupon) for my party of 9.

Me and my group thoroughly enjoyed our time. We went after 3pm which seems is the best time of day for the rapids. Our guide was Dean and he was spectacular. He's a lead guide and knows all the great rapids and key spots in the river. He also know many tricks with the raft that made the experience that much better. He also had great conversation and kept the first timers calm yet brought them out their shells. I highly recommend and ask for Dean!

Went here for one of my good friends Birthday and we had an amazing time. I had never been water rafting before this time. The event was crazy. The water was exactly what we needed it to be. I plan on going back for my birthday!

This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I can 100% say that I loved it!The staff there were super welcoming and friendly, and they all had a light-hearted, upbeat attitude, and definitely made the whole experience that much better!After a scenic drive to the dam where the rafting starts, we met our guide and learned our commands, and this began our trip down the river.I won't spoil the trip, because I definitely think you should do it yourself, but just know that it is definitely worth it.Also, quick shout out to some of our guides, TC Lee, Jack, and Hannah!

Family adventure day was a success! Everyone had a fun day and enjoyed rafting on the river. Our guide Howdy was awesome. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and we will be back. So much fun!

I have not had so much fun in forever! This weekend was my first experience in white water rafting and we did the full run - Upper and middle. We had ‘Gale Force’ as our guide and things couldn’t have been more perfect. We also stayed in the cabins - if you’ve not done this you definitely should. Lots of room, clean, very convenient, and the views are amazing. Best part? No TV. 🤪. Thank you for an absolutely amazing adventure. I could not think of a better way to spend my birthday!

This was the best whitewater rafting trip I have ever experienced. Our guide was Nick (Harp) and he was an expert with us. He gave flawless directions & delivered 100% when we asked for max adventure! When we flipped in a rapids, Nick successfully managed to rally everyone back into the boat before maneuvering us out. I am used to having boring & uneventful trips down the river but WOW if I could have detailed everything I wanted to happen on a trip, it would be this one. Thank you so much Harp ! You’ve redeemed whitewater for me - & We absolutely loved you!

I had the most incredible time white water rafting. We had a big group & some were rafting for the first time (naturally apprehensive). TC Lee was our instructor & he did an amazing job from start to finish. He was funny, engaging, & super safety conscious while giving us a ton of thrills! Im looking forward to next year!!!

We took a family of five and had a fantastic experience on the middle part of the river. Sydney was our guide and we could not have asked for a better person to take us down the River. She was kind, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. I trusted her to keep our family safe, but also to give us a great time together.

This is my first white water rafting trip, plus I can't swim. I have a tremendous amazing experience wanting to do it again. Our raft leader is Shelly. He is awesome, very experienced, and so is all his raft mates. My friends and I we have the 5 hours trip it included lunch regular burger or veg burger. I wish I had a go pro camera. Ocoee River scenery is amazing.

This was my first time white water rafting and it was so much fun. Our guide T.C. Lee was very nice and treated us with care. He was very knowledgeable about the River and the many different names of the tides and rocks. I would definitely do this again

Really enjoyed today's trip with friends and family. Our guide Justin was very fun and knowledgeable about the rapids and we had a good run down middle Ocoee. I have done this section of the river many times and always enjoy bringing new people with me.

This is our 4th time with High Country. The place is top-notch. The guides are always excellent. White-water fun at its fullest. We did the middle Ocoee class IV. Our two daughters ages 12 and 14 went down this river for the first time, Mr. Pink made sure to keep us safe and kept the fun rolling. We will be back agian! Our daughters haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had. They are ready for some Class Five with Pink!

A very unique place to visit with a colorful history. The boat ride onto the lake is definitely the highlight of the tour and what anyone really goes there to do. Cave system over all was a lot smaller than expected and shorter than others I've been to unless you pay more to do the wild tour. Still an enjoyable way to spend an hour and worth a visit.

Tour: This cavern has the cool distinction of being America's largest underground lake. The tour lasts about an hour and a half, and your guide tells you about its history. Most of the tour is on uneven terrain through the cavern, and there are some inclines. There are lights everywhere, but it's a cavern, so it has low lighting. The boat ride was too brief, but I otherwise loved it. It was such a tranquil experience. The water is calm and still, and the fish were fascinating. Our tour guide was funny, but it was difficult to hear him at the back of the group, and he kept a fast pace through the tour. You couldn't spend much time stopping and enjoying the amazing cave features. I wish they gave you more time for the tour, but otherwise, a great experience.Restrooms: Their restroom building was under construction when we did the tour, but they had a restroom trailer that was very nice, clean, and well-kept.

This cave and lost lake were absolutely amazing. The tour guide was very informative and gave a great deal of history on the findings and the cavern and the lake.Take time to stop and capture the coolest tours I've seen an awhile!!!You will not be disappointed.

Lovely cave and boat experience. Clean facility and great guides. It didn't feel as over commercialized as Ruby Falls, so that was a nice touch. Loved the addition of artists like the glass blower and the gem panning as well.

This was an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Angela, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The hike back up was no joke! But there are benches that the guides will let you rest on. Very open spaced for those who are claustrophobic.

Great tour to take if you are looking for a cave tour. Casey and Ashley were excellent tour guides that knew a lot about the formations and answered all of your questions. The walk up had a decent grade at parts but not too bad. They do stop for a couple of breathers on the way up to give you a spot to catch your breath. Overall not too bad of a walk and highly recommend. The boat ride was really cool and not something you commonly get to do. Will definitely have to come back some time for their spelunking tour.

As a local to Tennessee we have never visited these caves until today. We had age group 11-73 and we all had a great experience. The online booking was a breeze and so was the check in process.Our guide for today was Shay (I hope this is her name) and she was amazing. She was so friendly and her sense of humor was great, actually amazing.The walk down was pretty easy but the walk back up is pretty difficult for older people. It’s the incline that was tough for my mom and others I saw that had to stop numerous times.The lake at the bottom is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful down there. The water is crystal clear.I would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this adventure! The cave is so rich in history and beautiful. The lake was my favorite. I will definitely be doing this again. This cave is so big. You will get a good walk inside but not too strenuous. The guide stopped frequently so there’s plenty time to rest. Have fun!

For those like me who didn't know, you take a tour with a small hike through a nice cool cave to a small boat ride then back. We got Angela and her "twin" as our tour guides and they both made sure that we had a good time. They have a small glass blower shop filled with beautiful hand blown customizable items, gift shop, and an ice cream shop that was closed at the time we went.

We had a great time today. You want to have a great tour ask for Skyler. He is very informative and funny. Keeps the tour interesting. Definitely wear non skid shoes. Certain places were slippery. We liked the glass blowing place. Lots of beautiful items to purchase. The general store wasn't to impressed. A lot of the same thing and their mining bags were a little pricey. We were looking forward to the ice cream shop but it was closed. Not much else to do which was kinda a bummer.

We have driven past the signs on I75 for this place for years and finally stopped to check it out. It is amazing! Well worth checking out. Skyler, our tour guide, did an amazing job. The boat ride on the underground lake is really cool.Note: the walk down to the lake is a little steep and slippery. You can sit out that part, but then you miss the boat ride.

What a fabulous place to visit. Very intriguing and had an excellent guide. No stairs anywhere all ramps so it's easy to walk with rest benches along the way. Highly recommend, njoy the trip.

The kids truly enjoyed it. The guided tour greatly enhanced our experience, and we learned a lot from our guide, Emma, who is both funny and knowledgeable. We visited during the kids’ spring break, and many time slots were sold out. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance during peak seasons.

Just happened to see a sign and decided to detour and check it out. What a unique and fun experience! It’s quite a hike once you get started but if you’re able to walk inclines, you’ll be fine. Our guide Devin was fun and very well informed on the cave history etc. and the lake was amazing. If you’re passing through and have a couple hours to kill, go for it.

We had a blast at the Lost Sea! It's mostly a walking tour that takes about an hour and a half. The boat ride was 10 or 15 minutes at the end and there was a long climb back to the entrance of the cave. The cave is huge! Very cool! My kids are 5, 6, and 10 and all three had a ton of fun being in the cave. Be warned: if your kids are like mine, they'll get to the bottom of the cave and realize they need the bathroom...

It was a really cool experience, my wife and I loved it. Be sure to wear shoes, not open toed, some spots can be a bit slippery. Our guide Jess was real fun and informative as well. Highly recommend!

This was a great tour. Excellent your guides (ours was Laura- she was fantastic!) with lots of information. All the different rooms and levels were accessed by ramps, no stairs. Slippery in some spots, but fun. Definitely worth it!

I homeschool my 8 and 12 year old, and used this as a fun learning field trip. It was more touristy and busy than I had anticipated, but it didn't turn out to be a problem. The cave is impressive, and although I've lived in east TN for 15 years, I had never visited before. The tour guide was funny, well-spoken, and obviously knowledgeable on his facts. It kept adults and kids of various ages interested. I took a few notes in my phone while we toured and gave a little quiz to my kids after, and they both retained the information and enjoyed the adventure. The only heads up I wish I knew was the amount of walking on hills required. The walk down to the water they equate to a 7-story building in terms of grade difference. I'm a few months post partial knee-replacement, and although I was worried about the walking, I did just fine. Do wear grippy shoes though as the floors are worn smooth and would have been a bit slippery IMO without good sneakers. After the tour, I purchased a bag of rocks in the gift shop for the panning experience just because my kids had never done anything like that before. It was touristy, but fun for them. We have their treasures in the rock tumbler now.

This was such a beautiful experience! Our guide was informative and fun. The walk down into the cave and to the lake was breathtaking, especially if you love nature. The walk back up is no joke! Be prepared. Also, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Specifically, ones you don't really care about. The red clay can and will destroy them.

Our tour guide, Eli, did a fantastic job showing us around the cave and telling us really interesting stories about its history. On the surface, there is also a very impressive glass blowing/works studio. Even though the site is pretty rural, there are nice big signs indicating where it is. We went in the fall, but this seems like a nice outing for ANY season.

Had a great guide named Skyler, he was young but very funny and knowledgeable, he answered any question we had about the cave, I was very impressed with him. The cave and underground lake were beautiful. The walk is moderate in places, the incline is equivalent to seven sets of stairs; up and down, so be aware. Also, because of the red clay, your shoes will get a bit stained. Totally worth it.

Anytime you have a chance to go into the earth, take it! Of course, if it's safe. This place is amazing as I'm sure many are. You take a little boat ride, walk about a mile in total and they even have expert level caves to explore outside of the guided tour.

We had a very good time! Our tour guide Chuck, was very knowledgeable. He even took extra time with our group to show us things not normally included in the tour. Very impressive, well maintained facilities also.

I loved this place. Our guide, JD, was awesome and super knowledgeable! The boats are awesome and I would say this is an all around activity that is good for young children to adults! I would say the only hesitation is that you have to walk all the way to the bottom and then all the way back up and that is a bit tricky if you have mobility issues. Had a blast and will be coming again if we have more family in town!

If you’re in the area you HAVE TO take this rafting trip! Our guide Danny “trash man” was very knowledgeable and a great asset to the trip…do yourself a favor and take the “full river” excursion. Our son even said “this is awesome” when we stopped for lunch. Don’t miss the Raft1 water slide either. Dry refreshing and Raft1 made it as easy as possible to enjoy the day with the family. Put Raft1 on your vacation agenda…your family will thank you for making great memories…

We had the best day Zip lining and white water rafting. Bob and Anna were great on our zip lining tour. Dirt was an absolutely amazing river guide. We felt safe the whole time yet we had a blast. We will definitely be back!

Great place for families. There is a cafe with food and you are allowed to bring outside food in. We packed a whole ice chest of food for lunch and had no issue. All of the staff were wonderful. Alisha at the front desk was super welcoming and answered all of our questions! For zip lining we were with Logan, Emily, and Wiley. All awesome people! They were easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and funny! We felt super comfortable with them. Noah was our guide for rafting. Super cool and easy to talk to. This guy knows the river like the back of his hand and has some great stories. We had such a great time with him- one of the best experiences of my life. Holden and Emily were the tour guides for the other half of our group and they loved them both as well! 100% recommend this place!

This was my youngest two daughters first experience with whitewater rafting. Our guide Jase was awesome. He made the experience for the girls exceptional. We will be back to Raft One. The girls talked all the way home about our next trip and if they could bring their friends.

Our FULL day with Raft1 exceeded our expectations! We started with zip lining. Our guides were Weston and Holden. They were very witty and fun but also very safe.. though we tested their skills quite regularly! Never a dull moment with my family! Next , we had an AWESOME rafting trip!! Our guide ,Dirt, was great!! Very informative and fun!!! Kept an eye out for everyone and made sure everyone was safe!! ☺️ I HIGHLY recommend Raft1 for anyone wanting to have a good time!!! I’ve never in my life done this ( water rafting ) and I’m 39, we did a friend trip (5) from Florida and we were nervous as none of us have experience this but I have to say that our guide HOLDEN was the man, he made the experience fun, he kept us laughing, he was very knowledgeable about the river, told us exactly what to do not to get hurt, made the experience so great. RAFTONE IS DEFINITELY A PLACE TO VISIT… thank you guys and HOLDEN thank you so much 😊 👍🏽

We had an awesome experience with Raft 1 ziplining. We were able to call the day off, on a Friday, and get in on the 2 hour zip. Price was reasonable. Gift shop was nice. Noah and Cal were top-notch guides. It takes a specific personality to help people enjoy these types of things, while still putting safety first.There is a photo package offered at the end which was a reasonable cost and a nice touch.Go zip!

We took an amazing zip-line tour and it was our first time for that, both in our lives and together. Our guides Gracie and Weston were amazingly patient with us and really humorous the whole tour. Thank you both for a wonderful ride!

Ziplining - our family of five (kids age 10, 12, 13) did the course. It was just us, so was like a private group with 2 really good guides (Spencer and Jamie). Course is really good, lots of long zips. You do have to slow yourself down on several by placing a gloved hand on the line, we didn’t really like this aspect and had never had to do that on other courses. But overall really good and we’d do it again.Middle Raft trip - just my son and I did. It was AWESOME! Our guide Jace was the best. It was our first time doing this level of rapids and son was scared to fall out, we asked for a safe ride and Jace delivered. Plus they did extra special things that other outfitters didn’t, like slide rock where we got out and could jump on and slide down our overturned raft and a hole jump thing, all of the other rafts just cruised by watching us have more fun. Would highly recommend, felt safe the entire ride and we really enjoyed it. Definitely request Jace.

Jace was outstanding as our guide on our first ever rafting trip. He went out of his way to assure we had the most amazing time and it did not go unnoticed. My 13 yr old daughter practically seems soulless on a regular but she was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. He made sure we remained safe but thoroughly enjoyed the ride at the same time. He was the best guide we could've asked for!

10/10 recommend! This was the highlight of our girls trip! SHOUTOUT TO BUCKY AND SPENCER for the entertainment and excitement all while keeping us safe. We zip lined the first day and had so much fun that we returned for white water rafting the next day! As my first time experiencing these things, I definitely felt confident with Bucky and Spencer giving us directions and guiding us along the way! Would love to come back!

We cannot say enough about how spectacular this rafting company is. I have been coming here every summer with my husband James for the past 6 years, and he’s been rafting with them for the past 15 years. They never disappoint and we always have the time of our lives. We have brought various guests with us, from children to petrified adults to other adventure seekers like ourselves, and everyone always has a great time. All the guides are amazing and you can tell the company takes their time to ensure they offer the best trained guides. We have had Dirt as our trusty guide several times. I strongly recommend asking for him as your guide- you will have an amazing time! Dirt knows every inch of the Ocoee River, is highly skilled, and super friendly. He knows how to show his guests a great time. On one of the slower days, he even took us out to a neat little waterfall just off the side of the river. It was such a lovely surprise and great addition to our trip. Safety is a top concern as well. The owners, two brothers, Brent and Dusty, always greet us with a smile and remember us from years past (they are both very experienced guides as well!) Book your excursions with this outfit, you will be happy you did!

Amazing experience and we was blessed to have a great guide Spencer. Spencer was really knowledgeable about the river and compassionate toward us. He was helpful and humble, funny and make the experience extra fun. Having a great guide like Spencer make things so much better specially for my husband and I first timers doing rafting. For us was a experience that will go in our memories. We was celebrating our anniversary and husband birthday. So happy I chooses raftone.

First visit, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Mercier Orchards. Beautiful location! It was not as crowded as I had expected. Lots of goodies inside! We tried a few different apples, we really loved the Crunch a Bunch variety. The coffee crusted pecans were a nice treat as well.

What a great place to stop by for the weekend getaway from the city. They offers fresh fruits and vegetables, variety of apples, peaches, nectarines. The bake goods are to die for. Our favorites are apple fritter and donuts. Also the refreshment; such as lemon slushy and apple slushy are a must have. If you into alcohol, they have whole bar dedicated for you on the side. Outside we had the pop up stand of kettles corn and boiled peanuts. Fantastic experience, with staff being so nice and friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Parking was plenty.

We love coming up to Mercier’s when we are in the area. We bought several items consisting of bread, pies, and donuts. They all tasted great!The staff are friendly and love to serve. The experience in the store takes you back in time.I haven’t experienced the orchards yet but have it on the list.

Awesome and very unique place to visit. Biggest orchard retail store I have ever seen. There's plenty of parking alongside a pond, which they thoughtfully enclosed with a nice walkway. They have every kind of jam and jelly you can imagine! A bakery in the rear with homemade breads and pies. A winery. My favorite is their apple butter. If you are in Blue Ridge you need to stop in here! Don't miss it!!

This is a must do if you're in the Blue Ridge area. It's like a farm store with a restaurant and tons of shopping. The restaurant offers a great breakfast on the weekends. Amazing biscuits, fresh fruit, preserves, apple butter, eggs, sausages, french toast, waffles, chicken biscuits, grits, and coffee and tea.The store carries fresh fruit, preserves, apple butter, some no sugar added options, syrup, honey, stuffed animals, muffin mixes, donuts, and more. There's a bakery in the back. The employees were really nice. I'm sure this would be an awesome stop in the fall when apples are in season! The grounds are also really pretty. There's a pond you can walk around and benches to rest on.

Really neat place. Lots of sweets and great produce. The hand held pies are amazing. Worth the wait to take some home. Apple cider is yummy. The strawberries and peaches were in season and so great.

This place was absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, we visited during the winter so we couldn't pick any apples or do the hay ride. We visited the market and had a good time trying the samples and visiting the bakery. We then went to the lake and were able to some nice pictures. If you're in or around Blue Ridge, this place is a definite must.

As a lover for Wine && Cider, this is a must to visit! They have Cider & Wine tasting! Make their own, as well as sell other wines. My favorite was their Blackberry Wine and I don't even like blackberries. The only negative I'd say, is how small their Wine bottles are for the price. They are half the size of a normal wine bottle, which are cute, but not for the price. Would love to visit again when it's Spring and see how the fields look!

During my trip to Blue Ridge, Georgia I was taken to a local store for Mercier Orchards and found that this place had everything yes even Gluten free foods. I was so over whelmed with this store i had forgotten to take more pictures. This is a. "Must see" when you are in the neighborhood. It even has a Bakery in the back.

Nice , clean facility. Bathrooms we pristine with an attendant working hard to keep them that way. The were out of some products but thats mainly because of Covid and being short staffed. We like to visit Mercier on our trips to Blue Ridge.

This is the top of the mountain for farmers markets. If you are anywhere within 8 hours of this place you owe yourself a visit. From 🍎apples, 🍑 peaches, 🫐 blueberries and 🍯🐝honey to everything in between. This place has an awesome breakfast and lunch. A top tier bakery, candy, toy shop, jams, jellies and so much more!!! There is even a 🍷 wine tasting room with craft wine and ciders. Do not miss making a trip to this farmers market Mecha!!!

There are probably so many reviews about this place that I just don’t think I can add a lot. It was a great experience. I went there on my own thanks to a friend who recommended it as a good option for a we can plan. I went in and it was blueberry picking season which is not as fun as picking up apples but it is still very cool and you get to take what you pick the shop they have is very good and big and they have a ton of things and I didn’t stay to eat, but I tried some of the apple ciders they have, and some of them were very good, I ended up spending over $100 in products in that shop including the Seiter and some gifts for the family. I saw a lot of people with their kids which makes me think it is probably a very fun experience for the little ones as well.

I was so excited about visiting Mercier Orchard, and it did not disappoint! The drive up was beautiful, and so was the orchard. There were so many different items to try. The apple slushie is amazing! We also purchased some baked goodies and apple peach cider. Everything was great. I highly recommend visiting!

I had the best time here! I always get apples when I come through north Georgia and I'll definitely be back to Mercier. The gentleman conducting the apple sampling was very helpful and gave me excellent advice about which apples are best to can. The samples were delicious and I bought a full bushel. They also have a bakery, an extensive gift shop, and of course, I took pictures by the tractor. It was a great afternoon.

If you’re ever in Blue Ridge, I highly recommend you add Mercier Orchards to your “must see” list! The bakery items are fresh and delicious. My personal fav from the bakery is the apple fritter, it’s huge and they will heat it up for you if you ask! There’s a huge selection of different gifts, jerky, sweets, soups, wine 🍷, dips and so much more! There’s a bar inside that serves wine slushes and lots of other drinks. They even serve samples of all of their apples and you can buy the ones you love 😋 My favorite items were the apple wine and the Granny Smith Apple chapstick 🤩 I should’ve bought more so make sure you grab one - or five! lol

Mercier is always amazing. Make sure you stop in and do a wine and beer flight made on-site. Then visit the Bakery for fresh baked goods and other treats.

This place is massive! So much to see and experience. They have a great organization to there store and they items are color coded! Check out the pictures… they seriously have it all: jams, hells, sauces, mixes, honey, beauty products, kitchen wares, wine, cider, meat, cheese, produce, baked goods…They also have the Cider Mill with tastings.

We went during PRIME TIME! A beautiful fall afternoon. Due to it being later in the season we only had the opportunity to pick one species of apples (14$ per bag) however the fields themselves were not crowded, the tractor picked us up/dropped us off, water was sold on site for 1$, and the apples were so sweet and plump! Only reason I have to bring it down a star is lack of accessibility for wheelchairs throughout the entire facility, poor traffic management and lack of communication on the strollers policy. Aside from that beautiful view and great variety for family fun.

Our second time coming back. Last time was about 7 years ago. Always a great experience. The rock formations are amazing!! The underground river is awesome, with water so pure you can even drink it. The best part was in the “Great Room” when they shut off all the lights. Pure darkness. Our tour guide was Chance and he was very informative. Lots of stairs for sure but well worth it.

We absolutely LOVED coming here. It was my husband's first time going to a cavern and I'm so happy that this was his first experience. I loved how it was natiral+rugged while still feeling safe walking through.Only downside is there were some teenage boys who trailed behind the group and would splash into the water to drink some. Little annoying but didn't ruin the experience or anything!

Our tour guide was Jonah he was great! He was genuinely excited to show us the caverns and really loved his job. He made the experience even better. There are a lot of stairs and slippery paths and it's consistently 58 degrees so bring a jacket. There's lots of great views and opportunities for photos and you can even taste the spring water in the second part if you want. Would definitely recommend!

Never would have thought that this was a great MUST DO on my list.The family owned operations is welcoming and are so nice. The gift shop and history of the area are so interesting.It's well worth the money for something so interesting and a great exercise with over 400 steps and over an hour under the ground.

This place is amazing! The caves are beautifully lit up and left natural in most places, and the walkways were relatively easy for cave walkways. The underground river and waterfall were beautiful, and there were lots of interesting limestone formations. The staff and tour guides are friendly and very knowledgeable and conversational. Our guide, Abby, was super fun to talk to! Entrance fee was $25 and we got out tickets by showing up on a less busy day, but they also have reservations if you feel you need them. They said they are usually busiest on rainy days. Gift shop is cool and reasonable as well, lots of minerals and memorabilia. 10/10!

Such a cool place to visit! Word of caution for cave goers. 409 stairs total, not for people who have vertigo or height issues. There's a few tight places where you have to bend over. 4ft clearance. My 6' 5" husband made it just fine though. I had my 9 month old baby on my back in a hiking carrier the whole time and did fine.

I'm not sure where to begin with my experience At Tuckaleechee Caverns besides saying it was such an amazing experience! I'd highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Brandy was the perfect guide for this adventure. Her enthusiasm and countless puns made for a very memorable day. I've walked through a few caves in my life but nothing like this. Oh, and wait till she turns the lights out! A very calming and peaceful experience in itself. Also the echoing in the caves are neat too. I will walk this tour again one day. Thank you so much TC and Brandy for an unforgettable experience!

Lizzie was our tour guide and she was phenomenal. Our kids had a great time and I would go again there are some tight squeezes My boyfriend is 6 foot and he made it through fine and so did my 80 year old grandpa and you do see off some ledges so if you are afraid of heights, I would not recommend also, there are quite a few stairs, so keep that in mind ! I would definitely recommend taking a sweatshirt with I was in shorts and I was so glad I had my sweatshirt or I would’ve been freezing. It is about 50° down there And breezy we also seen a bear right by the parking lot so be cautious and don’t approach them

My family and I went and we had a blast. Our tour guide was awesome and did a great job educating us all about the cave, its history, even some geology and chemistry as we were walking through! I also appreciated that it was family owned/operated and that many of the fam members were there working that very day. Lots of steps, wasn't hard for me, but if you have any mobility issues it could be daunting.

This was such a great experience!!!Very comfortable to get here from Townsend (lots of signs guiding you throughout) and they had ample parking space out front.We bought our tickets (no online reservation was necessary) in the shop and bought some fudge and a Smokies shot glass as we waited for our turn. The fudge is really good!Lizzie was our guide and she was very knowledgeable. We saw many formations in the caves that have developed so beautifully over the years. The highlights of the tour are when they switch off the lights in the cave and of course, the pretty waterfall. The cave has quite a few steps up and down and in some areas you'll have to bend and walk as the roof of the cave is very low.We highly recommend this wonderful experience!

This was a very cool cavern! It's very well lit, so bringing a flashlight is unnecessary here. The tour guide was very friendly and energetic and informative the entire time we were there. I decided to bring my two toddlers, which was a gamble that turned out well. The cavern includes a waterfall, a wishing well, and a spring running through it. The path can be a little damp and there are lots of stairs so make sure to wear good shoes.

Absolutely amazing spot. They are a guided tour which is actually a must, because this place is MASSIVE! you will have an amazing experience and love it! There will be a few times where u need to watch your head because it gets to about a 4 foot clearance. Well worth the $22 to enter and I don't day that lightly. You go over half a mile into the tavern, there is a double waterfall inside with crystal clear water, and pictures that are amazing. 100% worth the entrance.

These caverns were absolutely amazing and our tour guide did a great job at explaining everything and telling us the history of the Taverns. This is one of those places that I highly recommend, however once you visit one time, that will suffice. If you were claustrophobic or have a problem with Steps, this is not the place to go to. Luckily we had an amazing time it was fun and we got a great workout in. However there were some taller people that were struggling and people that are not good with steps had a little bit of a difficult time because there are over 400 steps that you have to take throughout the whole tour. However this place was awesome!

A wonderful cave tour. Lots of different geological sites to see. The tour was roughly about a mile and took us about 1hr 30 min to complete. I never felt unsafe or in any dangerous situations. There are a quite few steps, but nothing too strenuous. Our guide Brandy did an awesome job and you can tell that she loves what she is doing. Our teenage boys found the tour to be interesting. A good morning well spent’

This was the second cavern I have been to but I really liked this one. Tour guide was pretty good but just make sure you have some warm jacket or sweatshirt on as it gets pretty cool on the cave. Good shoes will help as you walk a lot and walk on stairs or uneven surface. Overall experience was 5 star

Wonderful tour that was very informative. Probably one of the biggest cavern tours I've seen, there was a lot covered in the hour long tour. The steps weren't too bad for us and the bats stayed away for our visit! Also we got the peanut butter fudge which was delicious.

I had a great time. Had I researched it/planned it and known what to expect.. I'm not sure I would have done it. 🤣😂 I have a lot of anxiety, and I'm a little claustrophobic. That was REALLY far down and a lot of steps through some sketchy but stable paths... Once I got to the bottom... panic set in... just how far down I was.. and I'm not in the best shape... I talked myself silently out of a panic attack... 😛🥹🤣 told myself people do this all the time!!!! -- BUT, I DID enjoy the tour! It was informative because the guide had a lot of information... It was amazing looking in there, and I can say "I did it!" It was very pretty!!!

I have done a lot of caves, and this is one of the best! I absolutely loved it. Our younger male guide (blondish longer hair) was so sweet and very informative while keeping the cave protected. I loved it. If you can't do stairs very well, be cautious. There are like 200 plus stairs. I did t them easily. Don't miss out! Enjoy!!!

The guide that told us the history of the caverns was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We went as a school group. The caverns themselves were a sight to behold. The constant flowing water through the caverns was both awesome and soothing. Be prepared for some healthy walking. There are quite a few steps/stairs. But, continued railing to help you along.

As someone that's been to Mammoth Caves, this is a small cave, but 100% worth seeing while in the area. The sounds of the stream running through it is beautiful, with an underground waterfall as well! I had seen another review saying the water in the stream was drinkable, I asked my tour guide and he confirmed. The water simply tastes like... water lol. Would be an excellent retreat from the heat in the summertime as it's nice and cool in the cave.

Really cool caverns. Guided tour was an hour and a half and included large cavern rooms, underground spring, waterfall, and all sorts of rock formations. A must stop in my book. Great option for a rainy day during a Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg stay especially.

The day we visited was very busy and had a line out the door, but we only waited in line for tickets about 10 minutes maybe. The tour lasted a little over an hour. The guides were very knowledgeable and did a great job managing group passings down below. My favorite part was the beach, but the big room was pretty cool too. There's a waterfall, and some very unique formations to see as well. In the lobby are fossils and animal bones on display that have been found in these ancient caverns. Theres also a gift shop with drinks and fudge for sale. Highly recommend putting this on your list of things to do while visiting the Smokey Mountains. There's also a horse riding place on your drive in and out to the caverns owned by the same family. Same level of expertise and professionalism there and another fun activity to do.

Amazing, above expectations!Compared to other caverns, this one is very wide and open. The largest and longest we’ve seen so far!The Big Room was HUGE! And the waterfall at the end was a very pleasant surprise.The tour was not rushed, which gave us enough time to look around, appreciate the beauty of the cavern and take pictures.Our tour guide Chase was very kind and willing to answer to all our questions. (Remember to bring cash with you for tips!)A must do if you’re in the Smoky Mountains!

Great place for the whole family to have a history lesson/ science lesson. If you can't walk 400 plus steps this place is not for you. If you need to get your kids to burn off energy this is the place to go. It's a little over a mile hike , going down about 500 feet

Wow! So when we walked in I thought my husband would be the only one who would be tasting since well I'm allergic to peaches, apples and mangos and most places I go aren't sure what is in each wine, but no this guy right here (sorrey I forgot your name) was awesome! I got to try a list of safe wines for me and my husband tried ciders. He was hesterical! You have got to check them and their selections out.

Definitely a place to stop at if you are not a "real wine drinker". I have never found a wine I really liked until here. We tried a few, but I will definitely recommend Strawberry & Blueberry as being delicious. The chocolate & Strawberry cream ones are also good, but more of a dessert flavor.

Tennessee Homemade Wines are the best wines!!!! The staff in store is exceptional nice and fun to be around!! We’re club members and the staff we’ve talked to have been so nice, helpful, and awesome at communicating with us! We can’t say enough praise about Tennessee wines. Extremely happy with them!

We sampled wine at 4 places on the Parkway and this was our favorite! TJ was personable and helpful since we aren’t huge wine drinkers. The blackberry and strawberry wines were our favorites! We ended up going home with a bottle of the blackberry, which was perfectly sweet with a hint of tart.

Loved it. Bianca was awesome. Greeted me offered samples and knew every flavor sold. Made excellent suggestions based on my questions. Sold me 13 bottles. We just opened the first Blackberry wine today, and my husband loves it

We first had Tennessee Homemade Wines on a trip to Gatlinburg back in 2018. When we planned our most recent trip to Pigeon Forge, I just knew I had to get some more wine. It’s been years and I could still remember how good it was! We couldn’t find the Gatlinburg location when we went moonshine tasting and didn’t see it until we were already on our way off the strip. On our way out of town, we decided to stop at the Sevierville location and we were not disappointed! Bionca was so helpful with our tasting and helped us make sure we got exactly what we wanted. My mom tried a few that were too sweet for her, and Bionca knew exactly which one my mom would like instead. Between my mom and myself, we bought 12 bottles! And Bionca made sure we got the best deal on our purchases. I was excited to try the cotton clouds this time around, but our OG favorites are still peach, blueberry, and blackberry. We are also excited to try the raspberry and strawberry that we bought. Tennessee Homemade Wines is officially a must stop for us anytime we are near the Smoky Mountains!

The best wines I've ever had, hands down. The ciders are good but can be very sweet. Wines are all light, I haven't had one yet that feels heavy and thick. Sampling is fun, staff members are always very friendly.

Visited store with my parents while we were on vacation we did the sampling. At first it was a good experience. But, then when more people arrived for the sampling the lady that was serving us started to split her time between us and the other group.But while we patiently waited for sips that we would like to try. We noticed that the two other employees that worked there were just leaning against the wall and both were on their phones. Was a nice store but can do better with customer service.

This place is "Starting" to grow on me. Much better atmosphere than my visit back in November 2021. Masks are encouraged but not Forced on you. The Food court has gotten back into it's groove and the options are plentiful and given a 4 Day 3 night stay we had tried just about everything with no complaints. The main Restaurant was superb, my Steak couldn't have been cooked any better and exactly as I requested. Medium with no seasoning only salt and hint of cracked pepper. This place still has plenty of real table games(it's nice have a real human for a dealer). They still have a mix of virtual table machines but the balance was much better than a lot of other out of the way casino resorts are going. Great selection of slots but still like all the other casinos, they are very tight. The areas for those not able to gamble was open and they had plenty to do to keep them busy. I recommend you check out their website to see all the options and entrainment available to anyone traveling with young people. I seen quite a few on this trip and they seemed quite happy and talkative. In all, we enjoyed this visit but I still miss my Wisconsin favorites. However, this one will definitely grow on you. Enjoy and definitely Good Luck! You'll need it, Lol.

Went to the casino. Did not stay at the hotel. If you sign up for a players card you get $25 free play. Very cool. Player tiers pretty easy to access. If you like to gamble everything easy to get to. The table games were full but the couple that were not, did offer to teach me. You don't always get that at Hard Rock. Harrah's is very friendly and the bar prices are reasonable and close by. All the staff was nice and were joking with us. Wish it was closer!

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Harrah’s Valley River in Murphy, NC. The hotel was extremely clean with comfy beds and with amazing views. The casino is small but very clean and well situated. We loved it. Everyone was kind and helpful. Super nice food court. We’re already planning a trip back there.

Drove from Georgia. Love this casino. Only downsides are no free drinks and no poker. Gotta buy drinks for $10. If you want to play poker, gotta go the neighbor casino 20 minutes away.Bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Dealers also teach. Gave out masks at entrances.

Really nice getaway place for a short visit with adults. Good food, mountain lifestyle an culture, historic location, and plenty of gambling games to bet on. Cost of total stay is pretty much whatever you want it to be an if you get real lucky the trip could prove very lucrative. I will be visiting here again and again.

This place is always fun. Love the free play they give out sometimes. They're doing construction to improve, so parking is a little wonky right now. Great place to possibly make a few dollars or at least be entertained.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and it was an amazing experience! It was a very relaxed environment, and open to beginners (like me!) We had dinner at the Landing Cafe and sat at the bar. Their team (Stevie & Alex) were doing a fantastic job on a busy Saturday night. All of the staff in the casino was knowledgeable, all facilities cleanly, and all of the guests seemed to be having a great time like us! We will definitely be going back since it was close to our home in Tennessee. Very convenient location and great for an extended trip or a day trip!

The staff is excellent! The waitresses are so nice , the hot chocolate and vanilla cappuccino’s on the casino floor are so good ( tip your waitress she running all over the casino floor) this location is my favorite to bring my mom , easy to get around if you have a walker or wheel chair. The food court is really good. very clean , the staff cooking and serving work hard to keep the lines moving. The selection of slot machines are great , they are always getting new ones , fun to play .Stayed here for a few days last spring, Hotel rooms are very nice, great beds and comfortable pillows. Very relaxing environment, great place for a vacation or weekend trip.

Nice hotel and casino setup. All very new and clean. Casino area is pretty small and can feel overcrowded a bit. Was hard to get on to machines we wanted to play, as there were always others on them and waiting. But overall a nice experience.Was disappointed about the craps table minimum. A $25 minimum makes it very hard to play for a casual player. Would love if there was a $5 or at least a $10 min option.

I’ve been a hotel guest on many occasions and each time it was a great experience. The hotel is clean and the atmosphere there is inviting, to say the least. The staff are incredible, the casino is well-run and although the hotel is under renovation, it’s quiet. There’s not much to improve upon, it’s very impressive how well the hotel treats the guests, every time.

My first visit to the casino 🎰 hidden in the mountains of North Carolina in a nice quiet town of 🥰 Murphy. My only complaint was there was any sitting chair in my room. I like to read.📕Sherrie was very nice and helpful. And a big shout out to Bill and Travis at the bellhop

Very adorable with great views. The room was comfortable and roomy. They had many different food and dinning options. Staff was very accommodating to your need. If you like to gamble this is the perfect place. It is also a great place to stay even if you don’t gamble which worked for us. It’s close to many different surroundings towns.

Didn't do any pictures, but we really liked their food court options. More affordable & easily accessible than at Cherokee. We just did a day trip for a fall mountain ride. Smaller casino, so easier to navigate, but it appears they are expanding. An enjoyable & relaxing day trip from Cherokee

Great trip and time in the casino. The rewards program is highly beneficial. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The employees who helped us get checked in and to our room were also great . That said once we got home, not only did we discover you don't get your full deposit back, we were also charged the deposit twice. When we called to dispute this problem the response and desire of that staff member to help resolve the problem was less than desirable and now we are stuck disputing it. Outside of that, the time in the casino was Fantastic and so were the people who helped make the experience memorable.

I had a great overnight stay. The room was spacious and clean and with great views! The slots were kind to me also! Every employee that I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. I would love to go back New Years Eve, but Ihate driving in the dark. I had a lovely time. Next time I will take pictures.

Rooms are overpriced but clean, well equipped and quiet. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Casino is small but clean and has most of the games you would see at any casino and it’s not very crowded. The food choices are all fast food but will work in a pinch. The VIP bar is my biggest complaint as I’ve never sat at a more uncomfortable bar. Everyone agreed and the staff said the owners were aware but did not plan to update it. This is a shame as we would have spent much more time there but our backs and knees were killing us from hunching and crowding to reach the machines.

Slots were tight as a virgin. Payouts & bonuses were very minimal to none. Music was depressing. Felt like I was at a security guard convention with an over abundance of security guards for such a small place. Heard they are planning to expand. Place has tons of potential, but needs reworked. Prefer the other Cherokee Casino and probably won’t be back until changes are made. Clean and friendly environment. Food court was great. Hotel rooms were decent, plenty of rooms. No smoking and no valet. Plenty of parking. Would be a great place to come and watch sports. Drinks are pricey. Beautiful location.

I visited this location for the first time with my elderly mom. The first night was fine. The next night the room was fill with strong cigarette coming from the headboard. I was given an option to use a machine to take out the smoke and if we change rooms it would be faraway from the elevator, no access to transport items and too far for my mom to walk. We took the option of the machine and few hours later the room was full of smoke again. I have acute asthma and now have to get treatment for inhaling all of this smoke. I would like to be compensated for my last two nights and ensure if I visit again that they implement some time questionnaire if you are. Smoker so they are not house in the same area with non smokers.

Rented cabin nearby so didn't experience rooms but enjoyed the casino. Currently under expansion but has enough slot machines to play. Has compactly for large crowds. Has been busy the times I have went but has enough varity of new popular game machines to go around. It does serve sandwiches etc now with more to come.

Save money and time. Go to Dave and Buster's. We thought about staying the night and asked to see a suite. No suites. We were shown their biggest room. Not so big and only available for comped high rollers. Even though it is only a 90 minute drive from me I have absolutely no desire to go back. We did have dinner in their only sit down restaurant. Skip that too.

Just went to gamble. Didn't win anything. Not even a little line pay when we went. My husband hit $100.. I hit $0. Panda Garden was good!! It's in the mountains. Pretty location and a long ride for us. It's been a while since we went and planning on giving it another try. Didn't stay the night or had any service. Can't rate that.

Decided to check out this casino a couple of days ago. Wish we would have just not! I have heard such good things about it, but none of that held true. The casino floor is not very big at all. We were there early in the morning, but still could not play the slots that we wanted to because they were very limited and people just stayed on them the entire time! Did not see a co*cktail waitress the entire time that we were there, so that was disappointing as well. Definitely will not be coming back again! I will stick with Cherokee!

Fun birthday trip. Won a jackpot and witnessed many other winners while there. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. The water pressure meh, but we didn't let it ruin an otherwise great experience. The double window room in the hotel was a bonus view from the 5th floor.

My wife and I went to Harrah's to celebrate our retirement. Had dinner at Landings Cafe the food was fabulous. Popcorn shrimp for an appetizer, rib eye for me, my Sweetie had the pork tenderloin. Everything was great. Our waitress, Desiree, was super. She was polite, thanked us for coming in, was there to answer questions, but never rushed us. Great employee with stellar customer service skills. Stopped in the casino to donate a few bucks. It's nice,clean and the employees are very helpful.

The casino is currently under construction and there were a lot of games offline and areas completely closed off. For court is limited and could offer better selection. Glad I checked it out, but probably won't stay there again until construction is completed.

We stayed 3 nights to include New Year's eve. We also stayed over New Years last year. You throw a great New Years eve party! Even though the place was packed with thousands of people, there was no evidence of anyone being obnoxious or staggering drunk. It was just a really good time with a well behaved crowd. The music provided by the DJ was fantastic and had people dancing and singing along everywhere I looked, including me. It created a really fun party atmosphere. Unfortunately, the music from the band was a bit of a downer. Maybe next year you could just stick with the DJ? Not to be ungrateful, just a suggestion. Thank you for all the hospitality, including the beautiful clean rooms, and friendly staff. See you next year, or before.

My experience here was nothing less than fantastic. I lost my money but the amount of entertainment I received for my money was very well worth it. Will recommend to my family and friends. Actually , Harrahs Cherokee resorts needs to drive down the road and see how entertainment is supposed to be. Everyone was very upbeat and the atmosphere felt like you had a shot at winning. Which is a beautiful thing. There are plenty of games to keep you entertained.

I'm not too far away from Harrah's-Murphy so I can't provide any input on the hotel, we only go to play the electronic craps. Unfortunately we went recently and found the table had been removed. We liked it because the limit was lower and there was usually room to play. We wanted to play but they only had one craps table open (Thursday afternoon) and there wasn't any room to play. Even if I'm local I don't want to drive there if there's no room to play at the tables.

600 stairs total if you want to hike from the bottom to the top. You can drive up to the top or middle and hike over a short distance but will still need to navigate some stairs. There are several benches to stop and catch your breath on the way up. The steep incline hike at before you get to the stairs is strenuous but paved. You cannot get in the water/fall anywhere (signs are posted to stay on trail) except at the base/bottom where you first come in and can park and take a short walk over also with a few stairs. It was extremely crowded especially at the bridge at the midway point and the top. Went on a weekend in June and early morning. Got busier as the day went on. The hotel at the top has a stunning view but is an additional hike to get to. The gift shop is nice. The restaurant was closed at 11am while there. There are restrooms at the base and the top, that is it. The stairs are also clear metal so you can see down the entire way.

Our visit was a very nice experience. There are several ways to view the falls, which allows one to appreciate the beauty of the waterfalls. You can view by looking down from the top of the falls (and can also drive to the top and park if unable to walk the distance). Or, you can walk or drive to the mid-point section of the water fall where parking is available. There is a nice bridge here that spans the width of the falls from where you can view and take nice photos. You can look up as well as look down to view. There is also the option of a more strenuous trail where you can start at the bottom of the falls and walk the trail and climb the stairs all the way to the top. The distance from the base of the falls to the top overlook is only one mile. There are benches along the trail for those who may need to stop to rest. Be sure to bring water and bug spray! The only con was the limited parking to access the trails. Visiting during the week is best. I highly recommend visiting the Amicalola Falls for ALL ages.

Absolutely gorgeous and The pictures do no justice! We walked the 604 steps to the top of the water fall and it was worth every step! Gorgeous scenery in every direction and as far as the eye can see. If you're unable to climb the stairs to the top, you have the option to drive up and walk over to enjoy the views at the top of the waterfall. Headed to the zip lining adventures afterwards and it was just as phenomenal! I'd definitely return and experience it all again.If you're unable to climb the stairs to the top, you have the option to drive and enjoy the views of the top of the waterfall too.

Second time to visit the state park. Absolutely beautiful and stunning views. Stayed in the cabins in the park and it was great. The drive to the top of the mountain to the hotel was very easy and well worth the time. The walk to the bottom of the falls is a minimal stress Walk on a very well defined path. Beautiful views everywhere you look.

Beautiful state park and incredibly well thought out. It's very handicap accessible. I loved that they had trails made for wheelchairs and walkers so you could go see the falls as well. It was a very easy hike in to the falls from the handicap parking lot. Not even 10 minutes. The staff was delightful and so very helpful right from the time you come through the gate. Definitely recommend for family fun and for getting immersed in nature.

Absolutely breath taking. We chose to start the trail at the top and use the 425 steps one way down to the falls. It was fun and memorable for our crew. We had 4 kiddos with us from ages 4-11 and they were all able to complete the stairs on their own. The falls are beautiful and worth the hike. We are not sure what the trail is like coming from the base of the falls. The views of the Blue Ridge mountains at the top of the falls was amazing! Definitely recommend this natural wonder of Georgia. It should be must do.

Beautiful falls. You can either hike by climbing around 400+ steps while you enjoy the view ,though it can be strenuous. Or you also drive up to the top of the falls by car and park. The view is beautiful and you can enjoy the blissful sound of water hitting the rocks.

The park is well maintained and clean. The steps to falls is clearly labeled with count of steps. Nice picnic area with shade and options to grill. Nice kids play area also. Parking is bit scarce so need to plan it or wait during peak season

I went up for a work related Stihl training conference and I have to say it is absolutely gorgeous! The facilities were absolutely astounding and I couldn't believe how beautiful the area was. The views the people everything was amazing. If you haven't been to this location I highly recommend it. You will not be sorry. I did not get to see the waterfall but I heard so many incredible things from other people. Absolutely worth the hiking trails Etc You will not be sorry!!They do have a wonderful playground for children there. It seems pretty dog friendly. And it looked like they were working on some of the restrooms and doing some construction on some of the buildings.

Beautiful park with great views. The lodge/gift shop was clean and the restrooms were too. It seems better to park downhill and walk up so your trip back down is much easier. It’s great that you can drive up the mountain too. There are playgrounds and picnic areas/tables around as well. Wonderful place for a family outing. Super dog friendly! There’s lots of parking but you have to “find a spot” and definitely some tight car squeezes.

Nice state park! But very busy, crowded (last weekend in October) . People waiting to take pictures pretty much at every spot!The walk up to the falls is very strenuous! If walking is not possible , driving up by road option is available too, but parking was full at almost all stops, so could take some time to find a spot! If would like to climb half way through, there is a west trail, which connects at 425 step point and the bridge across the falls.Beautiful hike, but needed several stops as the hike is steep! Initial section of trail/paved path way and then 600 steps. Nice picnic area at the top. Zip lining not that great. Restrooms were a complete disaster, with rolls of toilet paper on the floor and water everywhere!

Beautiful waterfall. New welcome center. Two trails to get to the falls here. You can drive to the start of trail at the very top of the falls or start at the bottom on a rubber paved path to the falls. Start on the trail above and you will need to be prepared to go down 425 stairs, but the views are amazing. The two trails meet at the bottom of the falls where is a small bridge.

My family and I went to this place two days ago. It was a bit cold (about 40 degrees) but the weather was very nice. They have 3 parkings as well as 3 stages along the trail routes (bottom is from the Visitor Center, middle is the West Ridge Falls Access, and the top of the falls area.) Only paid $5 for parking access. I wish I had time going to this place in fall, it must be much more beautiful and colorful when the trees change their leaves color...

It was a perfect day for a hike 4/3/24! Followed by taking in the beauty of the the fall♥️The 425 steps were a challenge but we kept pushing on and it felt fantastic afterwards 👍The picnic area was nice and clean, so were the restrooms. Last stop, at the welcome center was enjoyable. Some interesting artifacts about moonshiners, the Amicalola(also the Appalachian Trail)Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Highly recommended for all of you to visit this waterfall. So easy to get to. $5.00 to get in the park.There are several way to see it from the visitor center. Easy and strenuous hike.We decided the easy part to drive up and walk to the waterfall. The.5 miles walk from the second parking lot before the top of the falls.

Loved this little side trip. Quick, easy, tree shaded path to the falls. Hearing the sound of the waterfall along the path was so enjoyable. It's beautiful on either side of the bridge over the waterfall. Great place to take pictures! Check out our!

It's a perfect outdoor experience. This waterfall is so cool, it almost doesn't seem real. My videos show some of the cascades. I also show the walkway and the stairs. The last video shows a great mountain view at the top. To get to the mountain view, when you are by the bathrooms at the top you will see a trail. Walk up the trail a little ways and you will see some beautiful Blue Ridge mountain views.

Gorgeous! We did a 2.5 hike that was fantastic. We started where the playground is, next to the new visitors center (not open yet). That was the best because we had to climb down (not up) the stairs to the waterfall. If you’re looking to just see the waterfalls, make sure to park on the top to avoid the 425 steps up.

This place is just gorgeous! There is a playground, picnic tables, many choices of places to stay, camping, glamping, you name it! The views were phenomenal! The kids, age 1 and 11, were intrigued and the walking was great for them! It's not too bad at all if you skip walking from bottom to top! We walked to the bottom, and then drove around and up to the top! Highly recommend this place! Fun for everyone! Including fishing! Lots of photographic opportunities as well! Make sure you visit the lodge! Spectacular views!!! 100% coming back!

Amicalola falls is a nice scenic hike with a big climb. It is the start of the Appalachian Trail but most people seem to come to see the falls. They have a new visitor center which seems almost done. We walked from there up the trail by some small falls and the reflection pool. From there you climb about 600 stairs to the top with a nice view right before the stairs. About 1/3rd of the way up is another bridge with a great view and short walk to see a prohibition era car. From there you can hike the rest of the way up to the view at the top and a nice lodge with facilities. We took about 3 hours to hike up and eat lunch and then hike down.

I went on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon. The park was over crowded, parking was a pain, the hike to the waterfall was steep and long. The waterfall made it all worth it.Amicalola Falls is the best waterfall I have seen in the US (not counting Niagara). It is tall and majestic.If you visit the park, I would recommend also going to the top of the mountain where the lodge is. The views of the surrounding mountains from there are amazing.

Beautiful park, but a couple of challenges caused the loss of a star. Very limited parking options (10 to 12 spots) in both the falls overlook and west ridge entry. There was plenty of parking at park entry. The second item of note was that there were a couple of the trails that were closed, making it impossible to hike to the base of the falls or down from the west ridge along the falls.Regardless, it was a beautiful day to enjoy the park and you should definitely consider adding the falls to your travel plans if you're coming to the north Georgia area.

This campground it very nice. Some of the trails were closed due for repairs, but we found several to hike. The weather was quite cold and I was disappointed with how the camp wood bundles would not burn at all! Their wood was useless.On the other hand watching a breathtaking sunset from the Lodges patio area next to the fireplace was delightful.For a place that is located at the beginning of the AT you would think they would have a lot more camping/backpacking supplies in the camp store, but they do not so be well prepared and double.check your supplies before you leave home.They have a zip line, hatchet throwing, and archery to keep you entertained as there is not much to do after the waterfall hikes are completed.The campsites themselves are very nice and I love that ours had a boxed in feeling where the picnic table and fireplace is located (unfortunately we couldn't use it since it was so cold and the wood wouldn't burn)

Amicalola Falls State Park is absolutely beautiful. The visitors center is nice with lots of options for souvenirs. There are several trails to hike. The lodge was gorgeous with stunning views. Amicalola Falls State Park is always one of my favorite hiking destinations when I’m in North Georgia. It’s breathtakingly beautiful with views all around. The trip up the stairs to the falls might be the more difficult path, but be sure to watch out for the lady beetles on your hike down; they bite!The parking lots are always packed, so be prepared to hunt for a spot. The Top of the Falls lot does sometimes have more spots, but you will be asking your vehicle to go up a steep incline to go up there and a deep downgrade coming back. Not every car can do it. I’m still surprised mine did!Seriously, though, Amicalola Falls is some of the most beautiful area in North Georgia. It’s well worth the drive and a visit!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! OK, so we visited the welcome center and we thought it was the only way to see The Falls, so we started hiking up the right side via the back of the Welcome Center. That side took us straight to the top. It was about 1.5 miles. When we got to the top of the Falls, there was parking 😂.Ok, no biggie, let’s head down to the middle going down 425 steps. When we got to the middle of the Falls, there was parking. 😂.Fine we thought, let’s go back to the Welcome Center. It was a tough hike down but well worth it. I have to ACL surgeries so it was rough for me. Take it slow because it was well worth it. Check out the pics.

Beautiful waterfall, well maintained. Be prepared for lots of steps. Short walk to the middle of the falls… lots of steps down to the bottom of the falls. Lots of steps up to the very top of the falls (or you can just drive up!). All the views are beautiful and well worth the trip!

Part of the stair trail is closed but the side routes to the top are still open. Always amazing me how that little creek up top can make such an amazing waterfall. Nice to see in every season. Stairs are a little scary for some pups and maybe hard on their feet but mine did fine.

Great Tour! We had a fun group experience with the Redneck Bus Tour that stopped here. We all enjoyed free tasting and coupons. Great spirits and views of the distillery in action! Awesome

Ole Smoky Distillery is always a good time. We stopped in this past week while on a girls trip. You have to participate in a tasting, it does not disappoint. The flavors of moonshine are always surprising. The combinations that they come up with are not something you'd think of, such as the lavender blueberry moonshine, which was delicious...mix it with lemonade and Wow!

Southern hospitality at it's finest. The midwest could take a clue from the South. My husband and I have Southern backgrounds and we long to move back South. Tasted most of the flavors. Shots poured for everyone! Everyone was very nice and even met some drinking buddies. We purchased over $400 worth of moonshine and Whiskey. We will be back. This will last for awhile. One of the best parts of our trip! We scheduled ahead and do the behind the scenes tasting tour! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Beyonce;) did our tour and made our time incredibly awesome! She was SUPER knowledgeable, fun, and kind!! It is really neat to see how the moonshine is made and hear about the history and future of the company ! We then had VIP tasting which was super fun- you even get a Tshirt on the way out! The place was clean and organized well!

This is a moonshine store that has taste testing for $5 and a wide variety of flavors. There’s a distillery on-site that’s very interesting. They also have a stage and bluegrass bands perform in the afternoon and evening. The music is free with rocking chairs arranged in front of the stage for anyone to sit in and enjoy the show. We saw 3 different groups and they were all very talented.

Surprisingly great fun. You get a $5 coupon if you do the tasting. There is also a huge Gift shop and live music played outside in a beautifully decorated area.

We did a lot of moonshine tasting when we were in Gatlinburg and Jen by far was the best she was nice. She was knowledgeable and made the tasting a lot more fun. We were able to get the specialty flavors we were looking for and use our coupons because we did the whole moonshine trail with the old smoky locations we got our free T-shirt and the guy that helped us Was really awesome. Jeff just moved here from Las Vegas so you know who you are thank you for a great time and this is a great location. They don’t have any restrooms in the location. You have to take the elevator to go upstairs, but the experience was definitely worth it 10 out of 10 totally recommend this location and ask for Jen. Thank you Jeff!

This place was on my short bucket list and I was not disappointed at all! Made a special trip over there when I was vacationing in North Carolina. Went all out with the Behind the Stills tour (free special tshirt when you do.) Brooklyn (not Beyonce😉) was awesome as our guide! We definitely took advantage of their amazing selection and sales. Got a pack of 12 (2 free bottles) with the large cooler free and got the 3 pack with the free small cooler. I wish I had read the passport before ending vacation and visited all 3 locations for another free shirt. Definitely keeping it on hand next time I'm there, which will hopefully be next year.

Second tasting and had a great time taste testing the moonshines of the day! $5 tasting and the flavors were great, bartenders fun, and comical even through their sales cooler pitch! Minimal wait to get to the bar top, but it was a full bar! Store is huge so many different souvenirs and shines to pick from, everyone is super helpful, and don't forget to use your coupons! Take it all in, throw the tasting back and just have fun!

I would say overall 4.5 stars is where I would put it. The atmosphere is neat with live music outside. The shine tasting is nice but I don't agree with the sign everywhere saying free tasting when it costs you $5 but I understand the city forces that fee and not the establishment. However you do get a $5 coupon for merchandise in the store with the tasting. Overall fun experience I recommend do your shopping before the tasting or you will spend a lot more after you do the tasting lol.

This was more than I imagined and certainly an experience I recommend for those of age. Bring your wallet!First, the moonshine tasting is $5, but you get a $5 coupon to use on your purchase and you're gonna purchase something. They served 9 flavors with two of them being edibles and two being cream liquers. Second, get a tasting with Buzz! He is hilarious and so much fun.Lastly, have fun! There are so many flavors and Ole Smoky Moonshine merch. I wasn't ready. And they have specials, so take advantage.When you're done shopping, step outside for some entertainment. The rocking chairs are comfy and the music is great.

first time here and had the absolute best time. i didn’t fully catch the bartenders name…i think Karima ?? and Felicity? Their friendliness w each-other and how they interacted with customers was so awesome. They were amazing. So kind, funny and informative. The entire staff was extremely friendly from walking in to cashing out. Def recommend, super fun & moonshine is amazing of course. Do the premium tasting! Worth it and still inexpensive.

Really enjoyed our visit and did the moonshine tasting. Our bartender was fantastic and hilarious. Bought some cherries, and lots of moonshine to bring home. We got a free cooler for buying 3 mason jars. Honestly a great deal for us who can't buy it locally. Beautiful old distillery with a live band playing.

The worse experience we had visiting a distillery and believe me, we’ve visited quite a few distilleries, winery and brewery in all our travels around the world.First of all, they have 2 choices for sampling which the bartender did a piss poor job explaining the different except for one had 9 tasting and the other had 11 tasting. Doesn’t take a genius to understand that by paying more you should get more choices. She could have said “with the premium tasting, you’ll get to taste our signature bourbon as well”. I tried to change or upgrade but was refused.Then the bartender tried to explain the very strict tasting rules by yelling. If it was so strict, suggest posting it on the bar and make sure everyone reads it. Cause after 6 tasting, my wife had an emergency as it’s that time of the month, and had to quickly find a restroom. She left while the bartender was trying to sell customers the package set. When the sampling restarted, my wife wasn’t back yet. The bartender said as she left the bar, she forfeited her tasting. Even I wasn’t allowed to finish her drink. When she returned, we had 2 more tasting to finish but the bartender refused to serve my wife claiming it’s the rule.Not sure if this is a state law or rule of the distillery. But to then charge the customer full price for something they didn’t have is a rip off. Imagine someone had to run to take an emergency phone call or go outside quickly to check on their kids. I understand forfeiting that one drink you missed out but then to forfeit the remaining of the course is crazy. Imagine you left just after the second pour. Then you’ll pay $7 for just 1 or 2 very very small sip. Or what if that person has lactose intolerance and can’t drink the last 3 sampling. Why can’t your partner or friend who’s tasting with you and paying as well can’t finish your drink on your behalf?I’m all in for rules but again, if it’s that strict, maybe it clearly visible and post it so everyone can read. Also, was planning to pick up a bottle of their bourbon on the shelf but couldn’t find a single price on the bottle or on the display. As they keep on saying “Hell yeah, I surely won’t return and won’t recommend this place”!!!

Amazing experience! We came from Indy and wanted to try out their testing. The pricing was very affordable and easy way to get some local moonshine in your system. It was $10 for 11 tastings of moonshine. Pretty popular for a Saturday night, and would hands down recommend!

Definitely worth doing a sampler at the in store bar. I believe it was $5 and they give you mini shots to try all different flavors. They are delicious and the staff makes it extra fun! They have great merch in store aside from the moonshine. Tee shirts, hats, bags.. all kinds of things. Decent prices too.

The tour was filled with awesome information. Terry was our guide and server and he done an outstanding job.when he served our tasters he also included ways to use the moonshine in cooking.learned slot of neat things and had a great time. Highly recommend the tour if you go to gatlinburg

Great tour and experience! Fun tourist spot to check out and not too far from Pigeon Forge. The road is a bit tight and windy, we had a camper because we were leaving town so that was a bit challenging. The tour guide was very kind and educational and cavern's a unique experience. I couldn't believe how far down we traveled, the average tour takes about an hour to complete.You will walk the full thing, there are a few low spots and tight areas which the guide points out and the path is clear and easy to navigate. Our pictures turned out great when we were down there! I recommend wearing a sweatshirt/jacket and tennis/closed toe shoes. Price was $20pp. I didn't think it was bad, and it helps to support the caverns and small town business.

We have visited many times and every time my family thoroughly enjoys it. The staff is really terrific and it is great to visit during the summer to have an opportunity to do an activity out of the heat. It's alot cooler in the caves so we tend to linger. It is a family friendly activity that even small children enjoy. It's a very pretty place and a nice experience.

I really enjoyed this cave. I didn't expect much as the information suggested it was a small cave and the tour was only 0.5 miles round trip and a little less than an hour long. There were a few places where there was a low overhang but nothing too strenuous to deal with. Floor was pretty level in most places so mobility shouldn't be much of a concern. There were also only a few steps going up as the entrance and exit have a ramp.Turned out it was much better than I expected. There were lots of different types of formations and most of them are still growing. According to the guide this cave has one of the largest Onyx drip stone formations in the United States. I didn't see much in the way of cave life but others said they saw a few frogs and other small creatures.Due to the availability of a river running through the cave and the remote location, the caverns were used to hide a moonshine still during prohibition. There are remnants of many whiskey barrel rings and parts of a still. Not sure if the still in the photos is an original however.The caverns were also used in the winter by Native Americans looking for shelter. Several artifacts were found inside, however they are no longer on site. The guide also said that there were flint formations inside the cavern as well that were used to create arrowheads.Overall a nice little excursion although it could have went a little longer so people could appreciate many of the formations a little longer. Definitely worth the price of admission if you are into exploring cave systems.

Pretty interesting. Me and the wife enjoyed it. Word of caution, this place is not stroller friendly. If you have a cane, crutches or issues walking I wouldn't recommend it. Most of the ground is very uneven, or slick or both. Tour guide was every informative and funny. Gift shop was reasonably priced. I think tickets were $20, well worth it.

I came here for my birthday to have fun with my family and absolutely enjoyed it to the fullest! I haven't been here since I was a kid and needless I loved it still. We got to see newts which was awesome but no bats this time. Definitely will be back and I recommend all should go here for this amazing experience!

An amazing little adventure to do with the family! They label the tour "moderately strenuous" but it's not too bad. We had three kids under the age of 10 and they all had a blast. There is a small part of the tour that they turn the lights off, but it's only for a second and no one's walking while they do it. The rest of the time the path was well lit and easy to follow.Make sure to bring a sweater if you're the type that doesn't like the cold. It was 85°F outside and less than 60°F in the cave... perfect for hiking, if you ask me =)The tour is guided (which we didn't realize until we got there) but our tour guide was very knowledgeable and let us stop and take pictures whenever we wanted.The tour itself took about an hour, but there's also a gift shop and a picnic area, if you want to bring a lunch.

Our guide was informative, it was really cool (literally and figuratively). We didn’t feel rushed. I learned a lot! To me it was more worth it cost wise than my trip to Ruby Falls.

This is a .5 mile hike there and .5 mile hike back. The hike is very scenery and beautiful. I have provided pictures of what you will be seeing. It is very interesting at that Elijah Oliver cabin. I am so glad that we went. My son really enjoyed it the whole family did. It was a great experience.

This place was great! The tour guide had a weird, dry sense of humor, but I liked it lol. Also, I'm very fascinated by rocks, rock formations, etc. So everything was exciting to me. I really wanted to see a bat, but unfortunately that didn't happen, otherwise, everything was cool and informative!

The cave was beautiful and lots of history/information. Unfortunately it was very difficult to understand our tour guide because she said she's having "bad allergies" and her voice was off. Other than that, it was amazing!

The wife and I went here, and we loved it. The guides were awesome. Big open areas with some tight paths. Really cool place to go and take the family. Will go back again.

A very nice cave tour! Our tour guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable and a super amazing guide. She gave a very detailed history of the cave as well as lots of information about all the different formations. The tour itself was quite interesting and we really enjoyed seeing all the unique formations. Highly recommend!

Was it worth $72 for the five of us? Yes, the admission fee could be lowered for what it is (maybe $10/person). The tour guide was nice, although with a big group it was very difficult to hear from the back (I’d recommend going with a smaller group size). The formations were impressive. My daughters had fun for their first time inside a cavern. None of us needed any extra layers for the temperature (I’d recommend solid sole shoes though, not flip flops).

We booked the Polar Express train ride for Christmas Eve. The parking is free and was easy to navigate.I was able to pick up the tickets with ease and hd plenty of time to look around before boarding the train.The boxcar that we were on was warm and had enough space to walk around and find our seat.We were disappointed that despite choosing seats together that initially assigned being at different at tables. Fortunately we were able to switch seats and sit together.The train ride was smooth and there were songs and cocoa with chocolate. I was most disappointed in the scenery which included excessive trash, tires, a car with two people strung out on drugs and things that took away from the experience of being on the "Polar Express".At the "North Pole" we were directed to look at different places related to Santa and Christmas. In reality, it was a persons house for each location with a sign in front stating what we should imagine it to be.For the price and the distance to get there, I would not book this experience again.

Wonderful trip, Kim, in first class, it was really great at giving us lots of information along the way. The young lady, (sorry I forgot your name), who sold us our tickets, was fantastic at getting us the best seats. Definitely recommend doing this trip lots of fun for all members of the family.

It was a nice relaxing ride on a steam train with great views of the Smokey Mountains. The food served was good and the service, great. However, this experience was made possible only by our server and hostess, Ginger! She was very knowledgeable of the history around the Nantahala. I think I can say that many of us in the Harper car loved talking with her. I can tell that she loves what she does and it shows. Kudos to you, Ginger! Once again, thank you for a memorable experience (and not because the my drink was knocked onto me)!

This was a really amazing way to easily see the landscape of the Smokies! Great for any train enthusiast and the tour was laid back and relaxing. An easy one-hour drive from Asheville. We went in early April in the first class open-air car. Bring a sweater as it was a bit breezy, but the fresh air was fantastic.Two things that detracted from the experience: First, on one side of the car (right as you are departing Bryson City) you face a lot of mountainside, which is not much of a view for a lot of the trip. Thankfully there is plenty of space for you to walk around the car and look over your neighbors to see the other side’s view. Secondly, a more formal spiel from the tour guide would have been appreciated for a history buff like me that isn’t too familiar with the area. This isn’t to say we didn’t learn a lot, but I think some of it got lost in the weeds.All in all, we had a great, relaxing time taking in the surroundings. When we visit NC next, we hope to catch this later in the spring or in the fall when the mountains have more color. Highly recommend!Oh, also, there’s a free model train museum!

A great experience amazing staff but I do recommend if you travel during cooler/cold temps especially with rain bring a BLANKET & heavy jacket for open cars. We road today with temps and rain we froze on the open car. The layover is to short especially if you get the last train car the walk takes most of your time. But overall would recommend for people to see this beautiful scenery

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Kyle was our guide, and he was super informative and educated about the area. We had the first car with controlled climate, and has the meal service. Food was average but the train ride was awesome. No kids were on the car, so it was a nice trip for adults with some good humor to be had.

Such a wonderful experience! Great for people of all ages! The loading process was quick and easy. There were many rail experiences to choose from and we chose the Nantahala Gorge trip. We had an absolute blast (even the teenager)! The rail car we were in was the Jackson and it was very cool and comfortable. There was a rail car that had a cafe for snacks, drinks, and eats (which we enjoyed). We will absolutely do this again and pick one of the other rail trips to see more of this beautiful place!

What a Wonderful way to see the Beautiful country side and Mountains of North Carolina. Very enjoyable ride in the open air. The town of Dillsboro for a layover was nice lots of shops to explore and places to grab a quick lunch. Would ABSOLUTELY do it again. Our 5 year old Grandson loved it as well. We took the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad for our daughter's birthday. We had a wonderful day. The open air car was perfect late September. The views were great, the concessions were plentiful and very reasonably priced. We stopped at the Natahala Outdoor Center to stretch our legs. The staff was wonderful and entertaining. They answered all of our questions. We will be taking this train again. I would love to see what these views when the leaves have changed to Fall colors. I highly recommend this attraction if you are in the area. Don't miss it.

We booked the Sunset ride on a fairly warmer fall day in late October. We did the open air car and would recommend over an inside train car. The bench seats face the outside and you can easily get up and walk around vs the inside cars feel stuffy and seats are facing each other in the inside.Take a blanket and dress warm for once sun goes down, but completely worth it to have the open air to have better views and experience in my opinion.Views were awesome, ride was fun.Food, snacks, drinks, alcohol all available.

If you love fall foliage then be sure to book an autumn train ride in advance. They fill up fast and for good reason ... the views are incredible and the leaves are gorgeous! We rode about a week ahead of peak and it was still stunning. I highly recommend the open-air cars! There are speakers on them so you can hear all the interesting stories and facts about what you see on the ride. Halfway through you stop at the Nantahala Outdoor Center and can get off the train for a short bit. We had blankets and jackets/hats on-hand but ended up not needing them. We look forward to doing it again!

My experience may have been slightly different considering the theme/event selected for our train ride.The, "Uncorked" wine tasting train ride was absolutely remarkable. There are pros and cons to every experience you'll take part in.For starters, the cost was reasonable to say the least. Once you're on board you have the option to buy additional beverages and snacks but its not necessary. The ride was approximately 3 to 4 hours long. You will make a stop in a small town where you can grab a beer or 5 and a bite if you're not pleased by the meals served on board.A friendly reminder: YOU ARE ABLE TO CALL PROIR TO HAVE YOUR DIETARY NEEDS MEET!The food was not the best but it did the job after a little salt and pepper was added. They were a bit short staffed but who isn't right now? It was a bit cold on the train so bring a jacket if you get cold like me.There wasn't much of a sight as the ride went along outside of the river located in this area. Personally, I think train rides are soothing but if you're looking for a scenery the only one you'll get is of trash, locals waving from their porch and that river mentioned before.It's quite the experience and if you like a little country feeling on a train, good adult beverages with some historical facts about the area thrown in the mix this is an ideal adventure for you.

We went on the 5 hour steam train ride and it was great! We rode in the open air car and the speed was perfect to help keep us cool on a VERY hot day but not windy at all. So if the wind is a reservation for you, it's not a problem. It was so nice having wide unobstructed views! The only time it was stuffy was waiting to move before getting started and when leaving the NOC. Employees were all friendly! Bring on your own snacks or you can purchase from the concessions car.

We did the first class seats where lunch is included. I got the pot roast and it was good, but the portions were a bit small. My wife got the pulled pork, she said the pork wasn't hot (temperature-wise) and the coleslaw wasn't cool - as if the food had been sitting out for a while. The ride was scenic and informative. Overall it was a nice way to spend a day. After it was over we toured their train museum and walked around Bryson City and checked out the various shops there.

A nostalgic and fun afternoon. We took an adult only wine sampler trip. Plenty to drink and our hostesses were entertaining and attentive.The food portion was well thought out, but the shrimp were over cooked. Everything else was fine and we sure didn't leave hungry. In fact, don't eat a big breakfast if you book the Uncorked. You're going to start eating right after the train rolls.Using the steam locomotive on the way out was very cool. Lots of opportunities for photography.

Fun trip. The "layover" was kind of useless if you want to eat or shop since there's not much time and it can be a long walk. Depends on which rail car you're in. Aside from that, the trip was awesome. There is so much to see. It's really beautiful. The storyteller was very interesting and informative. The crew was top-notch.

Our host, Nancy, was amazing!!We loved the trip and lunch.So much fun! The lunch and desserts were good. The entertainment was a nice touch. We like the souvenir bag and mugs.

Brought the kids and my mother. It was great. Although we were the loudest in our cart. We were in the Catamount and it was decorated so perfect for the occasion. Don't know if I would spend that kinda money again but glad we experienced the Polar Express.

Such a fun experience! Train ride was relaxing and informative and the food and drinks on board were nice too! I'd suggest not even buying a boxed lunch but bringing your own or buying a hotdog or snack on the train from the little diner train car.Also make sure to buy tickets on the correct side of the train. One side has better viewing potential. (If that side of the train is sold out, you honestly can't go wrong with either side as you'll still be able to see out to the other side.)

The train ride was very enjoyable. We chose First Class with a meal that was fantastic. A tour guide, in the train car, that shared the points of interest including the train wreck from “The Fugitive”with Harrison Ford. The train followed the river where we saw some Elk. We looked in the tree top for Eagles but were shut out this trip. We stopped in a lovely town with several shops. Definitely worth the trip.

It's a really fun experience and a beautiful ride. We prefer the open air cars for the views they offer. Just be aware this can be quite cold in the winter so wear thick clothing and bring/buy a blanket. The food offered is fine but not something to look forward to.

Had a very relaxing ride seeing the scenery. We booked the open car with a meal. The day was beautiful! We had been years ago on the steam engine. This time we went further and saw Fontana. The trip takes about 4 hours.Don't worry.. restrooms and stops are included. You can also shop at Nantahala if you like.Book in advance so you will not be disappointed that they are sold out.They also do a Polar Express at Christmas 🎄. Check them out for themed trips down the rails. There is a variety of car options and food.

Our second year making the Polar Express a tradition and had a great time. They go above and beyond to ensure you have an awesome experience and get in the Christmas mood. We usually go after Christmas but still thoroughly enjoy it. Can't wait to go back next year!!

The Polar Express was a wonderful holiday experience for my son. I’m not sure about all cabins, but we got a premium one and had a great time. The staff made it truly special for the kiddos and it was an overall great holiday memory. Gorgeous scenery.

We did the “upper” rafting tour. Which consists of level 3 & 4 rapids. The upper is for those who like adventure/challenge/adrenaline dumps.The “lower” rafting tour is more suited for families with small children and/or elderly people who are not usually physically active. The lower consists of level 1 & 2 rapids, with more “flat” water.Our rafting guide was Heather and she was great! Just listen to your rafting guide and you will have a fun and safe time! And yes, you will have to row a paddle but they will teach you how.

Everyone there was super nice, friendly, and welcoming. The rope course had different levels for each person’s comfortability. The guides for the rope course made sure to explain the rules and that they could assist throughout the whole course. There is a chance for rope blisters, but the staff had first aid prepared. To avoid blisters, one could ask for some gloves. The guides for the zip lining were very experienced and could show off their tricks on the line. It was cool to see and a great experience!

Amazing experience credit to our guid Patrick. He gave us a tailored experience with more excitement than the others. Hands down a great guy. Everything was organized, safe and fun. Will definitely return!

So much fun for our family! Our youngest is 12 and didn't have a problem with the rapids at all. All of the staff is super friendly and the guides playfully banter with each other as the groups go down the river. Our guide Elias was awesome! HIGHLY recommend you go with this rafting group!

We've gone rafting in the Pigeon River for several years and this year was the best, it was also our first time with 'Rafting in the Smokies'. All the guides get along great, good communication and an informative fun time. Isabella was 10/10 and deserves a raise. 👏 Overall I feel like it was more efficiently ran and a smooth process for checking in/getting back with this company. Bring your water shoes, and a change of clothes. There are also showers here for afterwards!

Lexi was our Rafting Guide and she was amazing. Lock your feet in and follow all instructions from your guide. Zip lining was John and Eric, and they were a blast! Highly recommended!

This was our second time to go white water rafting as a family and everyone had a wonderful time.Our guide was great and answered am off our questions. The rapids were mostly class 2 but we did guy a couple class 4's along the way.We also went Ziplining as part of a combo deal we bought. The Ziplining was good, not great. The family felt rushed through the course.I am still giving the entire experience 5 stars because we enjoyed ourselves that much overall.

It's my first time doing it with my family and it was awesome. Went there 08/09/23 rafting time 1:00pm-2:30pm, our guide was Brad, he is fun and knowledgeable about the waters. He even gave some useful tips to my son as his co-captain for the boat. A definitely must do when you visit Tennessee.

Had a great time in our rafting trip. Our guide B was awesome and made the trip even more fun. She asked if we wanted the wild ride, or the regular. My teens opted for the wild ride and it was a blast. Splashed everywhere, bumping up and down , and even taking a swim in the (very cold) river.

Amazing experience! My fiancé and I had never been whitewater rafting until yesterday. Koda was our guide. He was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the area and whitewater rafting. He was easy to talk to as well and recommended tasty pizza at a restaurant in Gatlinburg after we asked what restaurants in the surrounding areas had gluten free food. The experience surpassed our expectations and was such a blast! Highly recommend to anyone that’s considering the adventure. It’s worth it! And from hearing conversations from other groups, it appears that everyone is in great hands regardless of the guide they get! They all seem very experienced which makes a difference if you feel a little nervous/anxious trying something new.

Fantastic experience! Our guide was Hobbit and he was highly skilled and entertaining. The rapids ranged from 1-4 and were lots of fun. Definitely would recommend this company! All of the raft groups were having a great time.

Well worth the hike. It's only 0.4 miles to the falls. Asphalt walkway the entire way. The falls is gorgeous and so is the path to the waterfall. The entire state park is scenic and beautiful. People bring their dogs out and families to this place, it is dog friendly It doesn't get much better than that. Nature's lovers will enjoy for sure.

Probably one of the most beautiful water falls I have been to in a while. The trail up there was amazing and everything was clean and so lovely. To be one with nature really recharges me and it was such a memorable trip. Will be returning with our family to share this hidden gem. The ride to the water falls is amazing as well. Driving through the mountains is always an all time favorite.

It's a beautiful place. You enjoy the environment from the principal gate until the falls, the way until the top is a little hard, but the falls are so beautiful.

Full disclosure, I rarely write reviews on anything but restaurants. This was such a highlight of our trip that I felt like I needed to write a review. What an awesome place to visit! My wife and I took my 82 & 84 year old mother-in-law and father-in-law with us and they LOVED it. They both use canes and it took us a while to get to the falls but it was so worth it. The trail is paved and has wooden rails on portions of it for people to brace themselves. It is well maintained and only has a few spots with a steep incline. I’m not sure you would want to go if you were in a scooter or wheelchair but I suppose you could try. The pictures I attached do not do it justice. Highly recommend!!!

We visit this Falls about twice a year. It is beautiful when the leaves are changing. I did not upload a picture of the actual falls because you must come and see them in person!

Wow, I didn’t think we have such a beautiful place within 75 miles. The place is magnificent. The falls were beautiful, give you a feeling of calm and serene. It was a short to the falls from the parking area, it may be hard for toddlers to hike but you can take wagons if you would like. The falls flows from the top to the bottom of the city Helen, it was such a beautiful view. It is a must visit.Plenty of parking, national park pass works here. Carry cash with you as it’s a small place and lots of vendors do not carry a swiping machine. There are a lot of picnic areas and playground for kids too. You can do either barbecue or pot luck or takeout. We enjoyed an every bit of the park! Love to visit again.

We absolutely love nature and being 6 1/2 months pregnant this was a perfect hike! It was pretty busy for a Sunday! All paved hiking trail to the waterfall and scenic! Has several rock benches along the path for pit stops. To go to the Falls it was 5 dollars per person so be prepared to have funds with you :) The gift shop does accept cards along with having nice gifts. Definitely will be back especially when the little one pops out! Perfect family trip for all to enjoy!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. When I lived in GA as a kid my family would come here all the time. Anna Ruby Falls is a place to enjoy nature. The walk is beautiful. The hike up to the falls is great.

There is a $5 fee to get in the park. The hike to the falls is a moderate half mile but there are places to stop and rest if needed. It is a paved pathway. If you are able definitely make this a priority. The view is unbelievable.

This beautiful, romantic place is filled with amazing trees and flowers.Trout swim in the crystal-clear river 🤩 and comfortable walking trails wind through the lush landscape. There are many places to take stunning photos, from the picturesque bridge to the cascading waterfall.

Great location and easy to drive, but please note that the park charges $5 per person instead of per car. Overall, it's a lovely place to relax with your family and enjoy the fall foliage. I highly recommend it.

Such a beautiful falls!!! It opens at oak and I was there early, not a lot of ppl were there. The hike can be strenuous depending on your level. I was in and out within 25 minutes.

This was such a beautiful hike, paved pathway so made it easy to walk. It was not very long, I would say it was about a mile round trip once you park. We went just after a bunch of rain so I feel like we got lucky with great views of the waterfall and river with the water coming down off the mountain.

It's an easy hike if you're in shape. If you're not it's challenging but doable. It's not the length but the incline that will get you. It's worth it when you get to the falls. It's paved the whole way and kept nice and clean.

A MUST SEE! Very easy beginner hike. amazing reward and view. Took amazing pictures on my camera here not very crowded. Went on a Sunday and had a normal amount of people there. Still very easy to take pictures. If you’re coming to Georgia, definitely check this place out!

Fairly easy paved path to the waterfalls. It does have an incline, but they have a few stone benches along the way. To the right of the information board by the falls, is a longer hike on a dirt path. We only went a couple of miles in. We had to cross a creek, a few places were a little steep climbing over rocks. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful park! Entry was $5 per car, and they have a wonderful visitor center/ gift shop / restrooms at the parking lot. The walk up to the falls is fairly easy, with plenty of places to rest if needed. They have seating at the top to sit and admire the falls, plenty of vantage points for viewing.

Nice drive, Fall leaves almost gone but it’s a nice escape from City Life! You feel so serene . Open at 9AM . I went there early as they are opening the gate, in about an hour or two lots of visitors came gets crowded.

While in North Georgia I went to Anna Ruby falls on a beautiful February day. Short walk to the falls from the visitor center is very pleasant with rapids along the trail the entire way. Arriving at the big falls the platform provided many beautiful views of the falls. Not too crowded and people were courteous about getting their selfies and letting others get into position for their pictures. Ranger at front gate was very friendly and suggested cool things to see while at the park.

Entry is now $5 person in the car and it was very busy but that's to be expected since it was a weekend. This place is beautiful and very well kept. It's definitely worth the walk for the amazing views.

The hike is relatively short and is paved through its entire length so it is more friendly than similar hikes. The entire hike to the falls is uphill, so this may serve as an issue to certain patrons. It cost $5 per person to get inside the gate and park, and there is a visitor center with free bathrooms available. Cellular service is very spotty once inside the premises so plan accordingly. Definitely a spot worth visiting while in Helen, GA.

Such a beautiful waterfall, with just 0.4 miles easy hike. 15-20 mins drive from Helen, totally worth the views. National park annual pass also works here.

We visited the museum for Father's Day. I was very impressed with both the quality and quantity of motorcycles on display. They started one of the car's on display and two of the motorcycles on display while we were there. It seems almost everything on display is in running order! And they will start anything on display if you want to see and hear it run. We had a great time and I hope to visit again. Despite spending a couple of hours, I think I missed some of the displays. There is so much to see that it is difficult not to get distracted and miss something. All in all, a great museum if you like motorcycles.

So I’m not a motorcycle person in the least bit but this was cool. Especially if you like history! They have so many bikes in here. Most of them run and they will start them for you. So many knowledgeable people walking about that will tell you the best stories. Andy was the best to hear stories from. I could have listened to him all day. If you’re near and the weather is crappy outside I suggest giving it a shot. I highly suggest if you’re a motorcycle fan or gear head.

I knew it would be awesome, but WOW!!If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, you absolutely have to visit.You could honestly spend a full day, if not more, exploring everything.So many irreplaceable treasures of motorcycle history.The staff is very knowledgeable and will start many of the bikes for you as they explain all their incritracies. I love this place, the Mecca of vintage motorcycles. This place is huge and you can spend hours just walking around. They had a couple tour guys that would walk around talking about what made bikes special and manufactures. They even started a couple of the bikes up. One tour guide name was Andy and extremely knowledgeable on the technical aspects of the bikes. He told me I gave him the stink eye when he said something about Harley Davidson haha.

This place was really an incredible place to experience. They had multiple bikes from every single era from the very first one to present. If u like motorcycles then I highly recommend u paying them a visit. Heck pay a visit if motorcycles are not ur thing..the history and seeing how they've evolved since the first build is incredible and there's so much rich history!

What a rich history of innovation and human achievement that lead us to the Industrial powerhouse that we are.For those who are fans of American Pickers, there is an episode filmed at this location because of Mike Wolfe's relationship with the location.

An amazing find. Took us about 4 hours to look round. Staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and at hand if you have any questions. All bikes run, some are started throughout the day. My favourite was the motorcycle found in a wall !! It’s in a beautiful setting with well kept grounds and plenty of seating.

It's a 5 star collection that just needs a little more organized curating to warrant 5stars. I went with my husband who follows the you tube channel and the associations he has with other you tubers. I am not a motorcycle enthusiast but found this museum to be so unique and truly peaked my curiosity regarding all things motorcycle! From bikes with motors to the present day. Carrier pigeon motorcycle. Especially interesting are so many one-of-a-kind motorcycles. So many stories with each one. The other thing beyond amazing is the museum guides starting up 107 year old motorcycles and telling you all about them. I loved visiting the museum and highly recommend the trip.

Very clean and nice museum. Very friendly staff also. This is probably the nicest motorcycle museum that I have seen. Two levels full of motorcycles and “Money” Doug will happily crank you one up. If you love motorcycles then you need to stop and go through this place. You will be amazed at what you can see.

Awesome experience. Seeing the evolution of the American made motorcycle. Displays show what the motorcycle lifestyle was like through history. Most of bikes run and they will start one if you ask. Don't know if they still do the burnouts like when the owner was still alive.I enjoyed reading the owners history and his love of all things with a engine. Absolutely great place to see and experience the history of motorcycles. Very well set up with lots of reading to go with the displays. Everything runs they will even start some up while you're there. One supported this place for years but this was my first actual visit. I was so happy to see all of the history.

If you are ever in Maggie Valley or even the Gatlinburg area and you love motorcycles and the history of motorcycles, be sure to take the time to visit Wheels through time. I’ve been wanting to go for many years and finally had the opportunity and what a great experience. Once I entered the museum the “ace” immediately caught my attention since I’m a big fan of early motorcycles and this is one beautiful piece of work. While looking at every detail I was approached by an employee whom I later found to be (Andy) and he asked if I new the history to which I replied no I have only heard about them and before you know it he began to tell me how this bike began and within minutes through his story telling he captivated the attention of nearly 20 or so people. I had only walked in the museum moments earlier and after my first 20 minutes I knew it would be a great experience. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to my next visit and trying to coordinate efforts to have some friends from Florida meet us here next time around. Thank you for your hospitality and the museum is amazing, so much history.

We are members of the museum and have been for years. Proud to support. We were there this time to see the Motorcycle Cannonball come thru. It never disappoints, and neither does the museum.

This is by far the best museum I've ever been to! I lost count on how many bikes I saw and heard starting and running! So cool! I met the owner, Matt, who was so personable and knowledgeable. Made me feel like I've known him forever. He was just making his was around saying hi starting bikes and sharing his what seemed to be unlimited knowledge. Will definitely return many more times in the future.

Best Motorcycle Museum in North America.This really is the coolest place to go if you love all things motorcycle. The displays are absolutely amazing. The way they put the bike out fantastic. If you like motorcycles you must visit this museum.

An absolute gem. Everyone is super helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Vintage, mostly running motorcycles organized by type and Era. The largest selection of WWII service bikes I've ever heard of, let alone seen! Literally every Era and type of racing is covered. If you have any interest in motorcycles or history coming here is a must!

My best friends father always talked about this place and always told me to go here, after losing him to a motorcycle accident last November i made it a goal to visit as soon as possible. I have to say this place is a must stop for anyone remotely into motorcycles or cars or anything with an engine for that matter. Museum is amazing. Not far from gatlingburg / pigeon-forge area and the drive from there to the museum is beautiful. I will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

The museum was well laid out. Matt was very friendly and took time to answer questions . You didn’t feel like he didn’t want to talk. It made the whole trip worth it. The wife and I also got to experience the wall of death. What a show.

Absolutely gorgeous falls and not to bad of a trek to get to it..that being said the temperature had dipped into the 30s and there was ice on parts of the sidewalk and stairs and they had blocked off the trail that ran behind the falls which was disappointing. Definitely worth stopping.

Hidden gem inside mountains. First stop for out of state visitor who was impressed. Small parking area very crowded. $3 to park scan a QR code to pay. No park ranger or tour guide but pinned map to tell you about area but didn't see history of falls. Beautiful area but people move in and out quickly as there are no picnic spots and people are respectful of the limited parking area. Natural port-a-john in the parking lot. One hole for men and one for women. It's a hole with nothing to flush so don't drop anything. Bring hand sanitizer, no sinks to wash hands.

Absolutely gorgeous spot! The gate was locked but you still get close to the falls just cant go under. Hoping to come back when you can walk underneath. Short walk down some stairs. Lovely views. Cute spot to bring someone special.

Beautiful and a must see!! It was easy to find using maps. The steps and walkway down to the falls made it easy access and I would definitely make the trip back.

The waterfalls is beautiful to experience. Try to go during summer,spring or fall, not so in the winter we went early winter and the road is very wet and slippery the pathway are glassy ice so it's dangerous to walk on. We visited again during summer and it's awesome! It's free no tickets needed, just drive carefully in the mountains.

We went towards the end of Dec this year in the mid morning and about 10 other ppl were there but it wasn’t crowded feeling (about 5 more families came by the time we left). You park (lots of spaces) and literally just walk down the stairs (has railing) to the waterfall. So easy and so quick! Wouldn’t even call it a hike. Just a flight of stairs that aren’t even steep to the waterfall. When we went half of the falls was frozen with white snow like colors and half the falls was gushing so much water! You can still walk behind the falls but the grounds closest to the water was frozen and slippery so go at your own risk. Lots of giant icicles for great photos. Highly recommend for an easy but super rewarding experience. Think there might have been a sign to pay for parking but saw no one pay. We were there for an easy 20 minutes.

This is an easy walk to the Falls. Being able to walk behind is so fun and different from the other waterfalls. Parking is seriously limited here for the amount of traffic. You may have to wait for someone to leave to be able to park especially on a Saturday.

This was our first time white water rafting & had the best time! So much so that we want to plan more trips just for rafting! Jim was a great guide, calm, gave great instruction & encouragement, & good advice for other places to visit in the country for rafting. The weather & water was perfect, we stopped off for a snack & also let us jump off a rock right into the water which felt great! We got an opportunity to get off the raft and float down one small rapid which was also great & felt safe. Highly recommend this company to anyone in the area! Everyone was just so nice & knowledge. Felt very safe with them.

We had to choose the kid calm white water rafting adventure because my daughter is 5. To charge us $250 for a family of 4 plus tip is ROBBERY for what we rafted ...seriously it was a lake and completely flat (see picture). There were 3 tiny/short/easy rapids for the entire 2 hour boat ride. They mentioned people tube down it to give you an idea of how gentle it is. Don't waste your money! We had a much better time tubing in Cherokee (and experienced much larger rapids in a tube)!

Went for a calm water tour and it was a great relaxing way to spend the afternoon. They provided splash gear which is essentially high end rain gear and way exceeded expectations. Probably the best gear I've ever been provided rafting. For once I would say weather would not shy me away from running with this crew. Rain or shine you're going to have a great time. It was only 50 deg today and we had smaller children and they even stayed warm. If you forget something they have a great store with everything from clothes to water shoes, to water socks and it's all quality items that aren't throw away when you're done. Very impressed!

We had the best time with our rafting trip. Everyone was so nice and professional, they spoke very highly of the owners and how well they were treated. Richard was our comic/host, and Evan was our guide. We could not have asked for a better time. The trip was so much fun, they made a great lunch, and kept everyone safe. We will go again!

We made the right choice going with French Broad Adventures. Did the half day w/ lunch with our family (girls 15&12 and son 8). It was plenty for them to introduce them to whitewater rafting. They are ready to go again. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and our guide (Tim) was the best! Of course expect to pay $25-50 if you want a photo(s) (they have a photographer stationed below one of the class three rapids). Our photos turned out great - can’t wait to hang it on the wall!

We had an awesome time!! We did the 1/2 day with lunch and it was a blast. We had the opportunity to rock jump and swim before lunch. The experience isn’t just about the rafting it’s also the guides. Glen was so knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. Pete..so many jokes!! I laughed so hard (bring a joke with you to share). And Amy, our bus driver, amazing skills.

Never went white water rafting before but decided to go with family. It went very nice. Our guide was name Ellie and she was amazing! She was very humorous, informative, patient and guided us all the way, safety. Very fun adventure went on the half day tour (3-4hrs). The course was great for beginner thrill-seekers or anyone interested in trying something new. It was affordable and fun. I would recommend it to people of all ages. Will be back to try out the other courses :D

The most amazing time of my life, this was by far the best experience of zip lining. Jason and Anya for fun, informative and a blast to be around. We hade a great group. Thank you sooooo much for an unforgettable adventure.

French Broad Adventures was great. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and professional. They really took the time to make sure the trip was special for each person.The river guides are very knowledgeable and friendly.We did a half day trip with class 2 & 3 rapids. The river itself was fun. My 10 year old daughter now lists it as best experience of her life.I would highly encourage anyone looking to raft the French Broad to start with French Broad Adventures.

We took advantage of both the white water rafing and the zip line your. The location was well marked, the store area was clean and organized, there were changing stalls and bags for wet clothes at the ready. The guides were very personable and knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommended this company !

An enjoyable whitewater rafting trip. It was quite chilly in the morning considering it was late October and their final week of the season running the trips. Up to class 3 rapids made for a pretty easy going ride. I sat up front though, and was soaked the whole time. Guides were great.

This place is so much fun, The staff was amazing and very helpful with all of our booking needs. The bus ride to the river to get on the rafts was the best safety talk i ever had on top of all the absolutely hilarious dad jokes told by Richard, he really could have a second career as a comedian. Once we got to the boat launch Richard gave us a safety brief then told us which guide we were going to be with for this trip. We were in J’s group, between the awesome history and jokes, we had a great time! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back. We felt safe and like dare devils at the same time, I personally recommend jumping off the rock it was very fun, and when they tell you you can get out and swim i recommend that too. if you don’t like getting splashed a lot then don’t go in the front you will definitely get splashed. anywhere in the boat you will get splashed but especially in the front. Booked the whitewater rafting and zip lining. Had the best time ever. Shawn was the best river guide ever!!!! If we ever come back again we’re def booking with Shawn. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and made the experience great.Paris and Vivian the zip lining guides were also great and good at keeping the group engaged.

My family and I did white water rafting. What a fun time! I can't say enough great things about this company. While we waited we looked around the gift shop which had cute shirts, sweatshirts, hats, coozies, snacks, drinks, ice cream, etc. There were tables outside to enjoy the views while waiting and to listen to the safety meeting prior to departing. I felt well prepared and in good hands. There is a short bus ride to get to the river and the trip lead was funny, full of jokes. Our guide was Losty and she was absolutely wonderful! We were in great hands. The river was beautiful and the cool water felt great. There was the perfect amount of rapids and then parts of calm to enjoy the views and relax. There was a spot where we stopped and we could jump off a rock in the water for a swim. We stopped another time for a snack and a drink of water or lemonade. All in all it was the perfect day and our family can't wait to do it again. I would recommend French Broad Adventures for white water rafting to anyone and everyone!The next day we did the zip lining with guides Olivia and Avani. I was a little nervous as it was my first time. Our guides were great at alleviating my fears and I loved zip lining! The guides were both funny and they kept us entertained as we went through the course. We really enjoyed our trip through the trees. I would recommend this course to anyone who has never zip lined before. I have spoken to others that have zip lined and this course has a great braking system that seems easier than other courses that I've heard of. It was a lot of fun!French Broad Adventures has a lot of other activities that I can't wait to try out. Truly a great place for a wonderful adventure.

My family had a great time rafting down the French Broad River with Calvin as our raft guide. He had a lot of rafting experience, was very knowledgable of the river and made the trip extra fun. We booked the half day trip and had time to stop at a jumping ledge, float around in the river and enjoy a snack.

Best water experience ever! We booked ziplining and rafting. Rafting was amazing; we had a superb guide, Jim. The weather was chilly with river and low water level. Still a wonderful experience overall.

My family and I had a wonderful time doing the Treetop Tour. Kat and Tate we fantastic tour guides. They showed us edible leaves, shared stories from the property’s history, but it didn’t feel like they were performing. It felt like just a conversation with friends while doing a really cool activity on tree platforms where woodland elves live. The views were stunning. We will be back to do the Mountaintop Tour.

We had an amazing experience with the mountaintop zip line adventure.You walk to three different platforms, the guides give plenty of time to rest as you hike to increased elevations, and they give history of the land and plants along the way.We had River and Spice as our guides and highly recommend them. They were engaging, funny and very professional at the same time as they adhered to all safety standards and made sure each of us was clipped in and secure at each launch point.We had a wonderful time and would do it again!Highly recommend

River and Willy were our guides for my wife and I anniversary celebration and let’s just say they definitely earned a great review. They were friendly and personable and made our special day all the more enjoyable. They even spared us from being attacked by a copperhead. Willy was being extremely cautious as he pushed the little feller off the beaten path. Needless to say they were awesome Tour guides!!! Will definitely go back again!!!

We had a fantastic time on our zipline tour! Even with wind gusts and rain we had a blast! John and River were excellent guides and were very personable. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely come again!

Sydney and Nathan provided us with a great experience. I've never been zip lining and had no plans to ever do it because of my fear of heights but decided to join my kids. They made me feel at ease with their professionalism and their chill personalities. Zip lining here was amazing. The views are breath taking. I would do it again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for the treetop tour. . Antonio and Alex were amazing guides. They helped my son to take on his fear when he got to the first zip line . Alex and Antonio were so mindful of everyone in the group. They were obviously very knowledgeable and skilled at taking people through the zip lines . My kids can’t wait to go back and do the mountaintop tour. I would recommend the tour to anyone looking to have a great zip line experience.

We did not the tree top canopy tour -- six zips of varying lengths through the tree tunnels and crisscrossing across the gorge. Beautiful scenery. Well worth pushing the comfort boundaries high up the hillside. Our guides, Alex and Greg were wonderful -- patient and expert, with knowledge of the foliage and the terrain. The body harnesses make for super-safe zipping -- anyone over 70 lbs, and even great for adventurous grandparents. No climbing involved, just a short hike at the end.

I visited Navitat this October and it was an incredibly fun experience. Our guides, Willy and Leap, made us all feel safe and excited to try the ziplines. Their knowledge of the flora of the area and property's history enriched the experience and made us feel connected to our surroundings. Overall it was an extremely well ran operation with breathtaking views and exhilarating rides! I am looking forward to bringing my family back to visit in the future.

Amazing experience! The views are amazing! The hike up is worth it. Our guides were Alex and Ilze and they were fantastic! So many great dad jokes and nature facts along the way. Would highly recommend. My parents did the atv tour so they could watch us and they had a great time with their guide, Willy.

We had an absolute blast!! My wife was a bit anxious before and our guides John and Alex were phenomenal with talking her through the process and calming her! They were both fun and engaging throughout the entire process from check in to exiting the experience. Would give them 10 stars if I could!

We went on a Saturday around 1:10 and did the mountain top tour with JD and Tate - they were such great guides and had some pretty good dad jokes along the way. Definitely felt very safe and the views were very pretty! I’ve done a few zip lines before above the smokies and I do wish there was a little bit more thrill or maybe a few more zip lines, there was only 3, but the guides and the pictures definitely made the experience! Thank you! :)

Our guides Greg and Victoria were nothing but amazing, and It's always great to see people who are passionate about their job and obviously love what they do! We had a fantastic time ziplining with them and learning about the local area. My group still talks about the bus ride up the mountain that I can best describe as a wild mystery machine experience. Sadly I didn't get the drivers name but 11/10 would ride again. We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back :)

Amazing mountaintop ziplining during peak leaf changing! Although there were only three zips, they were all super long, fast, high up, and fun. Spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains during the autumn leaves gorgeousness. It was also nice to ride simultaneously, as they have two side by side zips. Our guides were great, and Navitat was very well organized and had a clean indoor area with restrooms, and hammock chairs outside while we waited for our tour. The only part I wasn't a fan of was the van ride up - extremely bumpy and the driver was blasting rock music. Some might enjoy this though as part of the adventure.

This couldn’t have been any better! Everyone did a great job and we loved it! My wife and I are going but I have a bad ankle and my wife has a bad back, we had no problems zip lining!!! It was a nice little hike but not too hard or intense. Our guides were Naomi, Gus, and McKenzie and they were all fantastic! They were funny and made sure we felt safe and had fun. I will do this every time we come to Asheville from now on.If you are on the fence about it, just do it! You will not regret it. My wife was a little nervous but after the first zip line, we were good and almost running up the mountain to the next one!

My friends and I were visiting Asheville for spring break and zip lining was on our bucket list and needless to say this place blew us away. Absolutely beautiful location and the most welcoming and friendly and fun staff. It was $125 each which I think was totally worth it. There were three of us in total including me and we did the mountaintop tour. We were luckily that it was just us three on the tour so we were able to get to know the tour guides, John and Victoria, a lot better. Shout out to them because they made us laugh the entire time and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and other places to visit during our stay in Asheville. I had so much fun bantering with them that I forgot to be afraid of heights lol. They did all the harness and securing stuff for us during the tour which made me feel a lot safer and they made sure to get really great photos with of our group together which we bought for around $30 for 26 pictures I believe. The views were extraordinary and breathtaking and the speeds of the zip line left our group speechless. I will say it was freezing cold so dress warm in March but the little bit of hiking warmed us up. Thank you to John and Victoria again!! Y’all were awesome.

Emerson and Jules were amazing guides! They were funny, but informative and very nice to hang out with! The views were amazing and I felt very safe the whole time! I also love the games/hammocks where you can hangout before your tour! We enjoyed celebrating my mom’s birthday here!

Our group had the best time! The entire staff were outstanding and helpful. Our guides were Riah and Cat. Highly recommend requesting these two for a fun and safe trip!! The views and experience were well worth it and great for all ages. If you’re looking for an amazing adventure this is the place for you!

We had a fantastic experience, our family including teenagers loved zipping with Navitat! We did the mountaintop tour. The courses were well designed, with what I feel the right amount of thrill still allowing for enough relaxation to admire the beautiful mountain views. Their equipment appeared to be very well maintained. The tour was organized well. Staff was professional, polite and helpful - they maintained an atmosphere of safety, provided great information during the hike and added some good humor to make the tour even more fun.

Love the Biltmore Inn. The views are spectacular. Food is delicious....breakfast especially. Rooms are comfy with nice little extras. Staff is very helpful.

My husband and I decided on a whim, to pack a bag and head to The Biltmore House. Neither of us had been, and we were bored. We stayed at The Biltmore Inn. From the moment we arrived... to the moment we left, everything was amazing. We will absolutely be back when we can stay longer than a night. I absolutely love the view from the deluxe terrace rooms. So beautiful and dreamy. And dinner at the on-site restaurant downstairs was superb.

Enjoyed an amazing First Class Afternoon Tea in the Dining Room. The staff were top notch in thier attention and kindness. The tea was simply the best I have had of tea services I have experieced all over the world. The view was breathtaking. Splendid Holiday decor. Topped off with delicious food and tea.

We went there for our honeymoon for a week. The valet were excellent and very nice. The front desk, not so much. We were not fans of the front desk. Every person we encountered working there while on our stay was snobby and rude.The rooms are pretty basic to me. I live about 30 minutes from the West Baden in Indiana and I was just expecting more from the Inn, I suppose. I would rate the Inn a 3/5 on service and friendliness compared to the West Baden. The view is a 10/10. That is perfect and I'm assuming that's why you pay so much to stay there.Also the "Library" lounge is not a library. It's the "common area" essentially. The drinks are outrageous. We paid $63 for two drinks. Bloody Mary's are $20.. for one shot of vodka lol. Those are like $5 where I live. It was a jump scare. Don't get food delivered to your room either. We wanted a quick lunch while we were getting ready one day. So we ordered one sandwich to split and a Tito's and cranberry... $65 dollars. It's just extortion really. The food was good but not worth $45.If we come back to Asheville, we would probably stay in a cabin & getting a day pass or at the hotel on the Biltmore. The house tour, the kayaking, the trails, the E-Bikes were all really fun. We just didn't like the Inn and our experience. Also, eat at the Bistro and Cedric's! Both very good and very friendly service and staff.Also we were told the pool was heated and would be open on our stay, it wasn't. But the hotels was. So all around, I would just stay at the hotel. It's essentially the same thing but friendlier.

The inn was very welcoming. Complimentary wine every day in the lobby was a nice touch. The turn-down service was one of the best of all my hotel stays! They even tied up the phone charging plugs with a silky red ribbon that has the Vanderbilt insignia. One major disappointment is the room felt damp at all times!

Staying at Builtmore Inn comes with the great perk of shuttle service on the estate.Food and service as expected for for its ratings.

We have had passes to Biltmore for years. Our daughter got married there. We're so grateful for one of N.C.'s greatest treasures. Sometimes, though, their reach for profit exceeds their mission and value proposition. We had not eaten at Biltmore Inn for perhaps a year or so. So we pulled up to Inn to valet park (raining hard). The valet informed us we would have a $20 parking fee for this lunch! Didn't make me very happy. This was NEW. Then we went downstairs for lunch and they informed us that they had transformed downstairs dining room into the "tea room" for afternoon tea and that upstairs in the library where high tea had been held, they were serving lunch. So we go back upstairs and were seated after long wait. They brought menu..... it was not lunch ... it was snacks and appetizers to be taken with drinks! Ugh! So at the Biltmore Inn, now, one cannot have a lunch!!!!! The Inn guests have to leave the hotel if they want to take lunch. The demand for (and profitability of) afternoon tea was large enough to move it downstairs to more capacity and lunch was eliminated, but we were inaccurately guided to library for snacks and appetizers ...... at one time there they even served hamburgers etc. NOT NOW.I expect more from the Biltmore Inn.

We spent $450 for tickets, gas and food for 1 day - 2 people. NOT worth the money; gardens and art exhibit were a big disappointment. When we purchased the tickets they told us the spring flowers would be planted, dogwoods and wisteria would be in bloom. Minimal annuals were planted, in fact they were just in the process of digging up dead tulips, so that is what we paid to see. We had to seek out the dogwoods and didn't see 1 wisteria in bloom. Art exhibit was a joke. A projection of renaissance art on the walls, no actual prints to view.

Our experience at the Inn was nearly perfect from beginning to end.We stayed in the Inn @ Room 259. I was disappointed that we didn’t have a mountain view, but the room was perfect, and we did have a terrace that offered substantial privacy when sitting outside. [I assumed a terrace would come with a mountain view, and I was wrong.]The valet & bellhop were outstanding, as was the front desk, the concierge, and all of the wait staff. We were treated with the utmost respect and never got bad vibes.We took the early morning tour of the Biltmore Mansion and it is HIGHLY recommended.We ate one night @ the Inn and the experience was fantastic! The service was perfect and the meal was delicious. We started with the crab cake, and both ordered filets, then finished with the creme brulee…………like seriously - how can you complain?The $30 +/- co*cktails were pricey, but then you take in the priceless views and suddenly the drinks seemed like a fair value!CONS:The website is very confusing. The difference between the Hotel, the Inn, & the Home is not clear at all, and the room descriptions could use some work.I ordered the embroidered robe for my wife, and it was probably 4 sizes too big. I contacted guest services and they said they only offer one size fits all. It was really only meant to be a keepsake, but perhaps one of my boys will grow up to be a 2x or 3x!Great job Biltmore – we have told several friends how much we enjoyed our stay and we are proud to have been your guests.

This is much more than a place to stay while visiting Biltmore: it's an experience in and of itself. We stayed here for two nights while celebrating our anniversary last week. Everything was pleasantly over-the-top - just as a stay at the Biltmore must have been. The property, the location, the staff, the accommodations, the view, the shopping, the food. All exceeded our expectations. Definitely worth the stay.

Chimney Rock State Park was a wonderful experience. There were areas marked appropriately on trails and warning signs to prevent injury like ice patches. My husband and I walked 5 trails and enjoyed our visit. Areas that we would recommend some improvements on are that some road guard rails need repair, the gift shop would've been nice to be open even if it was a Sunday. There were enough visitors during our visit to justify having it open. Despite that the eatery was open, there were rangers directing traffic and at the gate. All staff were, pleasant and helpful. Even though there was a wait - about 30 minutes or so, the traffic kept moving along. I would recommend this visiting.

So much to do here! I suggest going early in the morning to the top of chimney rock and then doing the sky trail before it gets too hot. Then take a break for lunch and don’t skip the waterfall trail. We loved this park! Our dogs couldn’t do all the stairs so we did the waterfall trail with them and dropped them off at the cabin. Your ticket allows you to leave the park and come back all day.

Beautiful place! We hiked for 4-5 hours and completed all trails here . We took the shuttle both ways to get all things done in time as we had only one day here . Well maintained park, clean restrooms, drinking water fountains , nice staffs , everything good .

Breathtaking views of the lake lure and its surrounding parklands from the Chimney rock and Devil’s head. Worth visiting and hiking all trails. You can park at the ground parking near ticket plaza ($17 each) and take a shuttle, it’s few minutes ride. To reach at the top, one can use tunnel to elevator (26 stories in 32 secs)or stairs (approx 20 mins), through stairs you can see Vista view, Subway, Grotto, Pulpit Rock, Crevice Pass. It was amazing to visit Opera Box, Devil’s Head, Exclamation trail, Skyline trail, Hickory nut falls trail, waterfall and the four season trail. All trails are intermediate, not long but has stairs. This park has outdoor classrooms, kids friendly trails, sky lounge, shelters, benches, restrooms, nice parking, gift shop etc. Staff is great and friendly. Exploring this park was really fun and stunning.

This was a beautiful place with easy to follow directions and maps. Workers were all very friendly and knowledgeable. There are AMAZING views, and the gifts shops and cafe is great. There is elevator access to those who may struggle with stairs. A lot of railings to make the walks feel safe. The waterfall was very pretty and easy to get to. Seems to be a good place for families as well, I don’t have kids myself but heard of a lot of activities and programs for smaller ones. I would definitely recommend.

So proud of myself to have survived this walk. Although, you can use the elevator to go up the chimney rock but since we also brought the puppies, we opt to climb the stairs from the bottom all the way up to the falls view. The view is breathtaking. This would prob look much more beautiful if all the trees turned green. Overall, we recommend this place.

Me and husband decided that we were not going to take the elevator and just hike all the way up. It was a fun experience but next time we will take the elevator so we can see the rest of the park. Once you make it to where the flag pole is your not going to want to hike up the rest of the way if you didn't take the elevator. There is also a bat cave but did hear or see any bats. There is also two views of a water fall but we only did the bottom view. We look forward to going back one day.

Chimney Rock was so beautiful. The walking paths were clearly marked and wide enough in all the spots that I hiked. The park staff were all very kind and helpful. The animal exhibit was great for people of all ages, perfect for Boy Scouts or a Girl Scout Troop. I learned a lot! The bat cave was closed due to increased bat activity, but I would definitely come again to walk through the cave! Some of the outdoor animals near the animal discovery den were also removed so we didn’t get to see those. Otherwise a 10/10 experience!

If you enjoy hiking and seeing the Mountain View’s then you will not want to miss chimney rock. There is plenty of parking , there is a fee to enter the park . There are waterfalls and also a elevator for anyone that might need assistance. There is a store at the top with plenty of seating, And restrooms that are very clean . It is a little strenuous on the legs walking up the stairs and there are a lot of stairs lol. But the views are well with the hike. There are also other trails you can walk after you finish the chimney.If you are in the area don’t miss this stop .

Beautiful park and very well-organized! There is an option to hike 28 floors up to the top which we did. If you choose to take the grotto road, then you will pass through a little cave which is fun! There is an elevator almost fully to the top of the Chimney rock and it is convinient if you travel with older folks or kids! Nice store with souvenirs too!!

It’s been 20 years since I’ve stepped foot on Chimney Rock. The excitement and nostalgia returned immediately. What a beautiful planet we live on. My Fiance and son adored the park. We will definitely be returning again in the near future to do some more exploring. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

Beautiful place!Make sure you arrive early so you can take plenty of pictures without many people because it does get crowded (9am)It has a souvenir store where they also have some snacks and ice cream.Tickets are around 17$ per adult.Pet friendly as well.Hiking to the waterfall is an easy one, even little kids can do that hike (of course with an adult supervision)

Nice drive in. The road is very narrow so you have to be careful. There are some parts that only fit one car so you have to let the other car pass. We visited in December 23. It was very windy and cold. There's a gift shop where you park the car. There you can buy snacks, drinks, extra shirts and jackets if you needs it. The hike to the waterfall was 0.7 miles, took about 35 minutes. The waterfall was nice. The hike back was harder since we have to go upstairs while carrying a 35 lbs toddler.There's a elevator in the parking lot that takes you to up the mountain, that was nice. Right when you get off the elevator, there is a another gift shop. There they sell more souvenirs and food. The view was beautiful. Very windy so you have to watch your step. There also a flight of stairs if you wants to hike to the peak of the mountain. I love the views. There are a few others trail you can hike. You can also take your pet on the trails.It definitely worth the trip here.

Cost is not bad for the adventure and views you get to see. They do offer a military discount (just show ID at entrance). Lots of stairs, HIGHLY suggest taking water for everyone to drink on the way up and down. They do offer an elevator as well, however today it was down. There’s even a bar cave and waterfall. Take your time going up and enjoy the view for a bit once you reach the top. I suggest going early as it’s less crowded. They open at 8:30am, we arrived around 9:30am and it wasn’t bad. It is HARD but there are plenty of resting spots when walking up. We spent about 2 hours there and as we left the parking lot was pretty full and there were tons of people. Don’t forget to check out the souvenir shop (one at the bottom and one at the top). Bottom store had more to look at I feel like. A MIST VISIT IF YOUR IN THE AREA!

This is really a nice place and I would say it’s a must visit place. Once you will enter from bridge. You need to drive up about 2 miles until the park entrance. There is a ticket per person and not per car. Entry fees per Adult is $17 and $8 for the kids 5-12 years. There is no ticket required for the kids below 5. You can go on the top by elevator or by stairs. You should try both. Elevator is in the middle of the rock, you need to go in the tunnel to get the elevator. Whereas the view from stairs is amazing.

Beautiful views of the surrounding area once you get to the top.I suggest going when they open to get the full experience without all the people about.The hike to the lower water fall was an easy one at just about 1.5 miles out and back.Be prepared for steps if you journey around the chimney rock park, there are many many of them.

An incredible place to visit! We went during Christmas break, there were a lot of people there, all ages from babies to elderly. The park was running a shuttle (busses) which is included in your admission (don't have to pay extra) to bring people up to the upper parking lot. From there you can choose to take an elevator to the top or take the stairs, which are a relatively easy climb. The stairs are almost a feature in and of themselves because the construction is so sturdy and well done, it's an impressive structure. You could spe d all day here hiking and climbing or you could make a quick trip to the top and be in and out of the park in an hour. There's a couple of cute gift shops with water and food if you are hungry. Also the entrance is conveniently located in downtown Lake Lure. Drive onto the state park's property and take the road up to the entrance parking lots. Views are spectacular.

The views here are breathtaking. The trail to chimney rock is relatively steep the map estimates roughly 500 steps you will climb. Thankfully for those who can’t make it up but still want to enjoy the view, they have an elevator! Hiking to the waterfall was very easy, almost completely flat and well maintained. The waterfall was beautiful!Keep in mind some parts of trails can be closed to weather such as ice and wind. Overall I’d say it was worth the cost to visit at least once! (Kids will love it here!)

Good place to bring the family for some outdoor adventures. We did a lot of hiking prior to go up to Chimney Rock, so the elevator was awesome for little tired legs. Parking can be rough, guides do the best they can. Be kind, be patient!

The park is beautiful. Wear comfortable clothes, good hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. We visited during Labor Day weekend and there were record numbers of visitors that day. The wait in line for the elevator to the top was almost an hour but you can also climb the stairs to the top. Definitely worth the visit.

I really loved this place. The drive up was nice. There is an elevator for people who don't want to take the stairs. There are A LOT of stairs but it's a good workout. The view from the flag was beautiful but you can keep going up and there is a pretty trail on top of the mountain that goes for a mile at least to a waterfall.

While most state parks in NC are free, this one is not. Not only is it not free, it costs $22/person for adults. This seems incredibly expensive to me.The hours aren't great either. Most of the year they don't open until 9am. In the summer they open at 8am. As someone who likes to start early to beat the crowds, this isn't ideal.We went on a weekday morning last fall and it was a zoo. The mile high swinging bridge is cool, but also attracts most of the crowds. The crowds die off on most of the other trails.I'd recommend avoiding the main part of the park and hiking the Profile Trail to Calloway Peak. It starts at a different location and you don't have to pay. It's also much less crowded.

Trails were fun and exciting, they also accommodate for all skill levels of hiking. The mile high bridge was a thrilling experience and provided fantastic photo opportunities. They hall small animal exhibit with bears, bald eagles, cougars, otters, and elk. Good gift shop as well with interesting souvenirs. Definitely recommend to anyone in North Carolina.

Great adventure to Grandfather Mountain State Park. This park has a suspension bridge between two peaks on the top of the mountain which is a 1 mile up. The views were breathtaking!Grandfather Mountain also has an animal habitat, with some great informative presentations by the animal handlers.

First time visiting Grandfather Mountain. The sights were breathtaking. You’re given a CD to listen to as your driving, an informative tour. Once you reach the building at the top, there’s 3 floors. A gift shop on the first, a museum on the second, and on the third is a door leading out to the skybridge. If you walk out on the rocks to the ledge, it’s at your own risks so do be careful.

This is located in the Boone Area in North Carolina ! Such a beautiful place , there is a entrance fee for each person, I believe it’s about 25$ a person . We went on the weekend during the summer time , we had such a great time . There are several places you can visit as you drive up to the bride and the hiking trails . We went into the museum it was pretty awesome , and the small zoo exhibit they have . The bridge was absolutely beautiful there was a crowd of people , very hard to take good pictures bc of the crowds . But over all the view is amazing , breath taken well worth it . Now they have several trails and you do have to sign a small waiver , before starting it. Some trails are risky and dangerous. I would not take children in these trails bc there are some parts of the mountain that are dangerous around certain edges. Definitely have hiker shoes and have water bc the trails are long .

Some absolutely lovely views! The only negative thing about it is that it wasn't cheap to get in. Otherwise, it was incredible and had a very fun hiking trail.

It is really pretty but it isn't worth it if you are on a budget. It cost 24 dollars per adult and if you go with your family it will be outrageously expensive for what you get to see. But when you get to see it it's absolutely gorgeous, probably one of the best views you can get when it isn't cloudy. They have a lot of trails to walk. The swinging bridge is the most pretty part. It has to be the best attraction in Boone and blowing rock (if your willing to spend a pretty penny of course) but if you are time and money then have at it.

Wow! Breathtaking 360-degree views from the top of Grandfather make the trip (and the cost--$53 for 2 Senior tickets) worth the visit to Boone, NC. Crossing the bridge and climbing the rocks is safe, but one should wear non-skid shoes. Be aware that it can be much colder with the gusty winds at the top of the mountain. Nice gift shop and a full floor dedicated to the history, images and conservation of the mountain. Well done to the non-profit organization that runs the place.

Beautiful place. There is a lot to do here. There is Mile high swinging bridge, Numerous trails, zoo and a museum. We bought the tickets online. There is the curve where forest gump ran, you cannot miss the ‘forest gump ran this curve’ sign. In the zoo we got to touch a snake. Saw bears, cougars and bald eagles. You can easily spend a day here. Kids would enjoy here too.

Fantastic experience!The trails are well marked and offer a good day hike challenge.The suspension bridge offers amazing views, but McCrae Peak was the main attraction for us. The trail was only 3 miles but was a good challenge and had a really fun stair ladder and rope section to get there.

Went with my family and had a blast. The view is amazing and they have a small discovery center for the kids. Its the perfect place to have a picnic lunch up on the mountain. The fresh smell of the flowers cascades everywhere. Drive with your windows down and enjoy the fresh scent and wonderful breeze.

Visiting the NC mountains (near Banner Elk) should include a trip to Grandfather Mountain to walk across the mile high swinging bridge. Breathtaking views of the mountains along with many hiking trails (some trails warn you to be experienced hikers).There are several animal habitats to view, but on this day they were sleeping. Rangers do give informative talks scheduled throughout the day.There is a cafe and restrooms along with several exhibits to view. Be sure to look through the view master devices across from the cafe to see awesome 3D photos of the mountain.I recommend you arrive early to avoid the crowds. Buying tickets on line is recommended because they can turn you away if they are at capacity. Adult tickets range from $22 to $28 and kids start at $10. To get the AAA discount you have to buy on line. Prices vary during peak season.

Went couple of days after Christmas 2023 and it was awesome! They have a Zoo and Bridge, trails so much to do and we spent hours there.

Oh, the views!!Amazing views from what feels like the top of the world. Beautiful nature center and museum. Lots of trails to hike. Beautiful little spots to stop and picnic all the way up the mountain. Plan on spending the whole day ( there is so much to do and see) but, get there here early the bridge and summit get very busy and crowded, not a great way to enjoy it.

Amazing experience. I went there just for exploring overlook places, however, I noticed it worth spending all day with family there. They have picnic area, restrooms, a lot of overlook areas. I went there on a Friday afternoon. There were a lot of people, but I heard during weekends it's way more crowded.

Serenity found. We enjoyed an early midweek stroll and had this gorgeous place pretty much to ourselves. We had researched articles and short video history on this area so it made our visit that more interesting. History is fascinating on this area! Gorgeous and all FREE. Also public restrooms were available too.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Greenville has hands down the best looking downtown area I have been to date. There are several different walking areas and benches so you can view this waterfall. We sat on one of the benches near the bottom and sat there watching the falls for about 45 minutes as the sun was setting it was a sight worth seeing. I also recommend walking across the suspension bridge, and taking in the view from there. Will 100 percent come back to this place in the future.

What a beautiful and thoughtful place. We visited in the morning - the air was crisp, the water was flowing, and there were just a few people. We can't wait to come back and relax on a swinging bench and take in more of the area. We parked downtown and took advantage of the free 2-hour street parking - it was about a half mile walk. Just gorgeous!

Falls park is unlike any other place in our country. It's beauty is supported by the eclectic nature of its city surroundings. Amenities aplenty including restrooms, eateries, many shops, galleries, picnicking areas, and walking paths. Dog friendly, the park is a playground of exploration for both children and fun seeking adults alike. The park IS the destination for those people in search of wonder and relaxation.

In the middle of the city, this is a beautiful gem with paved paths and beautiful fall views.There is no free or public parking available nearby, so you need to park in a parking garage nearby.It may seem like a small spot, but there are many paths you can take that takes you to beautiful spots where you can sit relax and enjoy.Paths are a bit uneven, and there are stairs, so wear appropriate shoes.

The most amazingly and beautiful park in any city ever. Make sure to explore around and look for the secret staircase in the photos. Hint, you may have to cross the falls to find it. The suspended bridge is just incredible with views and energy. Plan to spend a good half day enjoying this park and walk along all the trails.

Busy on a Saturday afternoon we found one parking space four blocks away. As we got closer there was a wonderful floral scent that grew stronger as we got closer to the park. Lots of restaurants and shops line the street leading to the park.Beautiful falls and walkway gardens surrounding the park.A three bathroom stall ( very tiny for the highly popular spot) is found through a outdoor patio.A very clean, safe and family friendly spot! Highly recommended!

We love Falls Park on the Reedy! The waterfalls were enjoyable to listen to, beautiful views, pristine walkways and grass, the bridge was fun to walk on, and there was plenty of area to sit and relax! Our Pembroke Corgis loved their walk and all the attention they received by everyone around. Restaurants and hotels are there. We will return!

While photographing a conference in Greenville I got to walk around and enjoy the park during one of the breaks. The thriving downtown area has a lot to offer. And this park is a beautiful oasis in the midst of it all!

Falls park is very nice.Lots of people and children along the banks and playing on the rocks in the middle of the river.Lots of photo shoots going on and saw someone taking their wedding pictured.Very nicely organized and designed.The suspended Bridge is the center point of attention and curves around perfectly so you can enjoy the small falls in the river.Over all a great place to visit.

I will never forget the feeling of AWE the first time I saw Reedy Falls in the heart of Greenville! Magnificent, beautiful and breathtaking! The best view is from the pedestrian bridge and it also takes you to the other side of the river!Greenville would not be such a spectacular place without the falls. We love and treasure our downtown park!

This place is so beautiful. My family was absolutely amazed to experience the falls in the middle of downtown. We took a few trails( woody, narrow stairs, bugs) that led to one exploration after another(Spill the Beans coffee has great ice cream. The Grand Bohemian very picturesque, and Gather has a ton of food options in a covered outdoor fun atmosphere) The Falls Park is really cool. You definitely need walking shoes!

Visited during the holiday season.. streets filled with lights and a festive atmosphere. There were Christmas decorations, live music and popup stalls selling trinkets and gift items. The highlight was the picture with Santa for free!As this park was right in the middle of the city, there were all sorts of stores for shopping, restaurants and coffee shops.Plenty of street parking and garage options.

It's a nice walk for you and your partner. Or for you and your friends, walking over liberty Bridge and then down into Falls Park is both scenically beautiful but also just fun. There's usually someone playing music on the stone bridge. Or swings to watch the waterfall.*pictures from several different occasions*

The grounds are beautiful. So many different trails to take and the vegetation/garden areas are gorgeous. I only wish it were more stroller friendly but overall, a definite must visit.

One time watch. At the heart of the town, this falls add to its beauty. Less crowded on weekdays but become busy on weekend. There are bench to sit at different location. No ticket is required. Other usual service such as public restroom is available.

The hidden gem in the heart of Greenville, Falls Park on the Reedy is everything a park should be.We entered the park by way of Pedrick Garden at Falls Park, walked over a small bridge and down a side road to the park. We were able to get a great view of Liberty Bridge and could hear the falls.Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and hotels all within walking distance, Falls Park boasts lush greenery lined paved walkways with benches and swings to sit, relax and enjoy the views and sounds of the falls. There are large open green spaces available for kids to play, families to picnic and relax and pets to roam.The park was busy on the Saturday we visited, yet it did not feel crowded. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the area.A true gem for nature lovers!Take a stroll across Liberty Bridge to get the most expansive view of Reedy River Falls. Enjoy listening to the flow of water, natural white noise. From the bridge you will be able to see adults, kids, and dogs on the rocks below enjoying the shallow areas of the falls.We were not able to fully explore the area to our liking due to our time constraints.So we look forward to returning for a long weekend to explore this amazing park, the Greenville downtown and the surrounding areas soon.

This is an amazing place to visit. This park makes this city. The waterfalls are very relaxing and the park is beautifully maintained. The pedestrian sky bridge is a great place to take photos. The location is perfect for having dinner and enjoying the visit to downtown Greenville.

What a magnificent place. Bridges, green spaces, waterfalls, shopping ,great food and art plus so much more. Can't wait to go back to this perfectly designed park on the heart of Greenville. Wow.

Beautiful city walk with plenty of picnic areas, good for walking, jogging, people watching and plenty of restaurants nearby. There is also a hotel, a Bank of America if you need cash, parking ranges between $5.00 and $20.00 for the entire stay.

Falls Park is a beautiful place to visit in downtown Greenville. I recommend if you have the ability to; to take a journey out across the rocks and get to a place I like to call “Falcons Cove” . In the last picture I took I am on top of the rock I like to call “Falcon’s Cove” . Maybe you’ll see why if you venture to the rock. Be safe, have fun. Love, Just!

Beautiful city park with lots of walking paths and several waterfalls, not just the big one. The bridge over the falls is perfect - what a good idea by the city whenever they did that! Lots of great places to eat - Spill the Beans coffee, Passerelle French bistro, Carmella's dessert cafe, and the restaurant and bar at the huge Grand Bohemian. Feel free to walk inside and sit on the terrace overlooking the falls!

I purchased a seasonal pass & food pass which I highly recommend. A meal can cost around $18 and that's without a drink. I've been going here for years and my daughters really enjoys it. They have a new section Aeronautica which has some cool rides.

Went with my bestie, it was fun, we walked around and rode the Viper, completely shook us!🤣 not much good food choices, panda express is there but seems to be lacking. It was a good walking park though, and there was also a parade which the kids enjoyed. Not that busy when we went there which was a Sunday.

I absolutely love this park! The park is beautiful with a huge variety of rides. The majority of the coasters were great. My favorite coaster was Fury 325! We ate at several restaurants and the food was good. I can't wait to come back!

It was excellent! They had plenty of help, security had a presence. Everyone had a great time. The food was outstanding too! I love to eat, so I thought there was plenty of food portioned out. Get the dining package. If you eat twice, you've got your money's worth.

We have been to a lot of amusem*nt parks and this one was setup correctly. My kids loved the snoopy land! The staff is amazing to work with and the whole process was simple from start to finish!

Cedar Fair parks are fun, but to bad Fury 325 is down because of cracked support.I'm glad, After Burner still has airplane there. Hint when finished with it can I have it 😉Park needs a Chicken Shack like Kings Island has.I have VIP pass but want a waste of money. Bait and switch when they said soda and snacks. I only saw a water pitcher there. I will never get VIP on my pass next year.Missed Parade that was at 5pm when thinking it was 8pm. Couldn't get info on it inside the park..All in all, I had a great time. See ya in 2024...

A little on the pricey side but if you want to try to save money you can always go to the website and pay for day tickets a day in advance (for the cheaper tickets in the evening.. It looked like if you paid for tickets for 4pm and after a day in advance, you could get tickets for $37.99). We paid about $43.00 (because we purchased tickets for the same day for 4pm and after) per person but it was better than $75.00 or $80.00 per person that they charge if you try go earlier (for us anyways, to each their own). I definitely recommend buying tickets online, especially if you plan to go at 4 or after, I didn't see any ticket booth open to buy tickets). When I called the number, it straight up told me we had to purchase tickets online. Also, be prepared to go through a metal detector if you have anything metallic on you. I highly recommend checking your pockets and purse and leaving anything unnecessary in the car before walking into the park. They will go through everything you have (and dump it all out on the table in front of everyone) to find out what is causing the metal detector to go off. We had fun though. The kids had fun. That's what it's about anyways. We got to enjoy the park and all of its rides and it was open until 9 that evening (well, it was supposed to be but that's another story for another day). Just so you know, parking has to be paid separately as well and it was $30.00. This was on a Thursday (Just mentioning that because I kept seeing people online saying it was $25.00). That's not the price we paid. Just want you all to be able to make an informed decision and still be able to have fun at a price that works for you. Be safe!

My family and I love coming here. We get Gold passes every year so we can go to Scarowinds and WinterFest. It is crowded so I suggest taking a picture of your child with what they are wearing that day incase you might get separated, especially if you have a runner, and I always put my phone number in my kids bag just to make sure.

Fantastic Park. Very clean, and super clean restrooms (which is an oddity). I will note that the food is good all around. They have a lot of GREAT roller coasters. The Fury is wild!We have been here 2 times and have had a blast. We had a minor issue with our Fast Pass but Shane in Guest Services was awesome and took care of us.We will be back soon!

Went for Winter Fest to celebrate New Year's Eve with family. Enjoyed the festive mood, decorations, hot cocoa, and variety of warm beverages. Riding the attractions that were open was fun!

Haven't been to the park since I was 25..Many years ago!!! It's very well kept,lots of attendants to help find your way around!! The food is very expensive so it's worth getting the meal ticket if your gonna be there all day!!! The rides were just as I remembered!!! Fun and full of excitement!!!!

Came here for the first time for Winter fest. Lights were really done well. Copperhead was the best ride they had operating, very fun. Only complaints were that there was no directory of what rides are operational, causing a lot of wandering around. Food was limited as well.

We visited here in the evening. So the entrance admission fee was less than regular. It's the holiday season and pretty chilled at night. Part of the exciting rides were closed, but those roller coaster rides were open. Your teens still can have great exciting fun. For those young children, Snoopy Camp is a good area to impress them. There were also a lot singing/dancing shows to watch. Finally, there was a parade like Disney which brought a perfect end of night. Holiday lighting decorations here is one of the attractions for all visitors.... Merry Christmas and Happy holidays!!

A fun time for all ages, friends, family, & co-workers. Tons to do for all from thrill-seekers to the more calmer individuals. Definitely worth the trip, but be sure to get the season pass and meal plan if you plan on going more than one day, as this will definitely pay for itself.

We had a great time, we arrived early to make sure we avoid the crowd. We got into several lines and by noon the wait time was about an hour. Still we had fun. The park is very nice, clean, the staff is nice, mostly tan by young adults. When we got hungry we ate at the big food court and the food was decent, we got chicken strips and fries. We are definitely coming back

Great place, but they're getting greedy. $30 for parking is ridiculous! Buy tickets online prior to visiting because it's much cheaper.

This visit was for winter fest. Do not go expecting rides very few are running but the lights and magic feeling of Christmas is great try being the kid you know you want to be.we had a blast worth the trip as long as you know what to expect. Also find scrooge and tell him I sent you bet dressed group there and keep a eye out for deer they got loose when we were there

We went for Winter Fest. The park was decorated nicely and I absolutely loved the parade. There were people walking around in costumes of Christmas old. There were performances throughout the park and the times and locations were posted in several locations. We didn't ride while we were there...we just enjoyed the festivities.

Amazing amusem*nt park! Very clean and well kept, staff that we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. Beautiful decorations for their winter festivities and so many fun things for kids and kids at heart! Everything was easily found and we found the app to be helpful finding locations around the park. Handicap accessible areas and restrooms available.

We were able to go pretty early in the morning, before many people were there and the lines got too long. Every ride had about a 15 minute wait once it got a little more busy. The food places there were good and they have cute souvenirs. The rides are all amazing and so much fun!!!

Lots of fun for all ages. We purchased tickets online and added the meal and drinks for the entire day. Be careful with the food if you are planning to dine later, while it states that food is available up to the time the park closes, we found that most of the "restaurants" were closed an hour earlier.

I visited the place during the opening weekend. It was a fun thrilling experience. Since the park wasn't that busy, there weren'tany long queue for the rides, so was able to go on all the thrilling roller coasters. Fury 325, thunder strike, night hawk are my top 3! I also tried the ripcord and it was an amazing experience!

Terrible experience. Paid a lot of money for myself and 2 grandchildren to get in. Most rides were down and only running intermittently. Not a weather problem. Someone said they were having electrical problems??? Then close down and refund money. See all of the down ride pictures in my view!

Dear Mr Carowinds. Today was spring break and may daughter who is six almost seven and I thought this would be a fun place to adventure. We got to the park just after open. It was easy to get in. Although 30 dollars to park was almost the same price of a third ticket. We entered the park quick and were ready to ride. The park was very clean. My mini me is 46 inch. Which was just under the 48 inch mark. Seems to be a gap in the small kids rides to the big kids 58 inch tall. But we did find a lot to ride. Four roller coasters, three that were age, appropriate and one that was for smaller kids. We did find about seven other things to ride. The haunted house was fun. It was a bit extreme on the prices of food. $17 for a piece of pizza was really pricey. But we did manage to have a great day. At the very end of the day we got one the gear spin. Sophia was running it. She closed the line right after we got in line at 8:02. She was amazing and made our day. As we got on she talked the ride up and made the last ride of the day so much fun. She went far and beyond someone who just enjoyed their job. We did have an amazing day. It would have just been a little been in a year or two when she can ride more of the bigger coasters. See you again in a couple years and thanks for the memories.

Winterfest (New Years Eve celebration) was great! Our family had an amazing time. There were lots of people, but lines were not long for the rides that were open, and hot chocolate and cider were amazing and kept you warm. We enjoyed the rides, the food, the parade, and the live bands! (No issues, and it appeared that everyone was having a good time)We have season passes, so being able to enjoy a year-round experience is always fun for our family. You can't go wrong buying a season pass if you live in the area.Great way to end 2023!🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉

Nice clean park. Food is food and rides are top notch. Our home park is cedar point but we like to make this a yearly trip.

If you are in Charlotte, it is a fun place to visit and good for all age groups. You can buy tickets at the booth or book online, either you it works. Consider family membership option if you are family of two and have 2-3 kids, as the family membership provides more value for money and you get two buddy passes which you can use immediately during the visit if you have more than two adults in your group. Simulation drive is included with the family membership, so value instead of combo tickets. It is a long line sometimes and probably most times to get into simulation. You can easily spend 3-4 hours at the museum, rest rooms are clean and very accessible.

NASCAR hall of fame museum is a must visit! I enjoyed this a lot with my family. The experience wasn’t what I had expected at all— in a great way! Stimulations and interactive activities all throughout. Very clean and well kept facility. Loved the gear shop as well. Highly recommend purchasing the Combo 1 package as you’re provided a cool lanyard for your hard card and unlimited rides on the race stimulator. Would love to visit again.

Its interesting and they have guided tours as well as a pit crew test where you can compete against other people. Not very expensive and they have a military discount, but not first responder for entrance tickets. Parking is not free unless you are a "Legends and Champions" member-I assume you'd know if you meet that qualification.

Whether you're newly introduced to NASCAR or you're an avid fan, this place is a must-see. My mom and I went today, and it was a treat! We were able to take our time to look through all of the exhibits, and the staff was so courteous. They were very enthusiastic and willing to answer any questions. A memorable experience all around.

I am glad to finally visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame. My son is a big fan and I watch it a bit but we both had a blast! Learning the history and seeing everything on display was mesmerizing. The simulators were exciting and it was great to experience what the NASCAR life is like. I wish there were a few more sections so kids can interact since they are fans too but we made it work. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had.

Even though I'm only a moderate NASCAR fan, and my wife has no love for any motor sport this place is an absolute must visit. The exhibitions are fun and brilliantly done. It's reasonably priced to get in with lots of combinations to make it cheaper.

It's interesting and neat to see the cars. But for 34 dollars and 12 dollars for parking. Unless your a really big fan of racing save yourself some money and skip this. There's a 12 minute movie that was interesting. But the best thing that is offered is the simulation it will have a long wait unless your going to stay all day plan on going on it once. Nascar is a billion dollar sport and this was the best they could do for its hall of fame, sorry but it's a big disappointment.

We had an absolutely amazing time here. About $ 80+ for 3 people with 2 of our tickets being discounted military. There are packages you can purchase to include a simulator ride. Very interactive. You get a card to scan at the stations for more information or to activate the kiosks. You can take a picture and get your face and name on the large jumbo screen with your favorite drivers you select underneath your picture welcoming you. There was a simulator qualifier, the real thing and a timed pit crew simulator. Super cool museum to view the history of NASCAR, owner and driver history. Amazing time for all.

Clean facilities, everything was easy to read and adequate labelling of where to go. Good explanation of interactive activities or what was displayed. Best part was the staff, they were all very happy to help, explain and keep you engaged. Definitely recommend the simulator combo. Didn't eat there but food smelled and looked delicious.

We got to go after hours with our convention, so it was pretty packed, and im not sure how that compares to a normal experience. If you're interested in Nascar, you'll love this place! There is lots of information for the history buffs, and lots to see! There was even interactive displays and "games."

Pretty cool for a half day activity and have fun games and activities for the kids. Wish there was more representation of diversity and some bumper cart action to tie it all together. A bit underwhelming for how big the building is.

Great for kids, honestly it was much more interactive than I thought it would be. They have an individual card for you to use and scan throughout the tour to customize your experience, lots of models of the engineering and building of the cars too. They went all out on decoration and props, the place is extremely clean and well kept. 4 stories, but with elevators and ramps leading all the way up it's not a difficult jot though they said it takes about 3 hours to complete we were done in about 2. If you pay the extra for the driving simulator, there will be a bit of a wait and we didn't have that kind of time. All in all, great value and a good memory

I’m not a NASCAR fan but the hall of fame is definitely worth visiting if you are in town and have time. We visited on a Monday right when it opened and it was empty. We did the racing simulator multiple times as well as the pit crew station; both were fun. There are a lot of exhibits for those that are fans. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and clearly loved working there.

Great place to visit if you're a Nascar fan of any kind that said, overall great place to visit. Even if you are just a car fan, it's well laid out and very interesting.Extremely clean, if you care to eat there the cafeteria is not overpriced and is much faster than trying to eat in Buffalo wild wings which is attached. You can wait there till you're gray-haired and probably never get a table.Parking is just around the corner from the front door and easily accessible to the Hall of Fame

What a fantastic experience. One of the friendliest environments I have ever been in. From the front desk to the workers on the floor it’s like they were all trained at Chick fil a. Super high level of customer service at the hall of fame. The exhibits were beautiful and the car simulators were awesome. But the most fun had to be the pit lane simulator where you physically have to do a pit stop on a car. Such a great place to visit I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone

We visited early afternoon on a weekday, no waiting to get in and I recommend you pick a ticket package that best suit your needs. You may not want to take part in all the Halls attractions. We did the simulator and photo with lunch credit package. You also get a $10 speed (gift) shop voucher included. The displaces are beautifully displaced with detailed narration. We enjoyed ourselves.

I am not a Nascar fan, but I did enjoy the museum. The interactive race simulator was so much fun! Very clean, with fun exhibits. My husband thoroughly enjoyed!

Looking back at old pictures then realized I need to tell you to go! I went August 2022. I did not know exactly what to expect, but it exceeded any expectations. It was large, clean, informative, interactive and interesting. Its very well made. A must see in Charlotte.

From the moment I walked in, I could appreciate the rich history and the excitement that surrounds NASCAR.The exhibits were thoughtfully put together with interactive displays and engaging videos, making it easy for someone like me to learn and get into it. I was especially impressed by the Hall of Honor, which introduced me to the legends of the sport and their incredible stories.Even though I'm not a racing enthusiast, I had a blast with the simulator experiences. It was a unique chance to feel what it's like to be on a NASCAR track, and I found it really fun.The staff members were friendly and happy to share their knowledge, which helped me understand more about the sport. And the gift shop had some cool NASCAR merchandise that even a casual fan like me couldn't resist.So, even if you're not a NASCAR fanatic, the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte can still be a fun and educational experience. It certainly was for me!

I had a great time exploring the history and memorabilia of the Nascar Hall of Fame. Seeing the cars up close and on the banked track of the rotunda, you really get a feel for what it's like being a driver. Upon entry, every ticket holder receives a plastic, credit card sized card that helps you interact with the displays and make it a more personal experience. With the race simulator (for an additional charge) and the pit crew challenge (included in general admission), you get to experience what it's like to sit in the driver seat and be a pit crew member.There are also tons of artifacts on display with a brief story behind the person that wore, drove, owned, or turned a wrench on. With so much to see and learn about, you really need multiple days to explore, but it's also makes a good day trip. Whether you are a Nascar fan or not, it's worth seeing at least once.

We were in town for a conference and I decided to take my little one to check out the cool cars! Let me just say he loved it! He is a big fan of lightning McQueen, so that was a lovely surprise for him!I purchased the number three combo pack and it was definitely worth it! The barbeque beef sandwich was great! You also get a $10 credit for the gift shop which is pretty cool and a free photo! There is the option to buy a second photo for $15.The employees were friendly and it was fun exploring the museum!

I don’t know what kid or adult wouldn’t like this place!! Definitely going back! Well worth the money. I bought tickets online, but there still would have been no wait! Very organized and structured. Bought a package that comes with the simulator, lunch, a certificate to the gift shop and other goodies! Very interactive and educational museum! There’s like 3 or 4 levels to the museum so wear your walking shoes. A theater with a 20 minute show is included you can watch at your leisure.

Beautiful facility with kind and welcoming staff. The facility is setup so nicely! You will see and learn all aspects of NASCAR including detailed history. Don't skip the simulator and pit crew challenge. Well worth the price of admission. There is limited street parking but there is an attached parking garage. We went on a weekday (Thursday) and it wasn't busy.

A truly amazing experience. The architecture of the venue alone is a marvel. The cars, suits, helmets, trophies and other exhibits are wonderfully arranged. Do not miss trying the race simulation in a model car and the pit stop challenge. Something not to miss by any means when in Charlotte

Huge place. So much to see and do. So reasonably priced for all you get. Simulators, pit stop challenge and so many more interactive exhibits. We stayed 3 hours but, could have stayed 5. We loved it.

If you're a die hard NASCAR fan who appreciates the history, you'll likely really enjoy a visit to the hall of fame. For me as a casual fan at best, I had a very underwhelming experience. Also, I wouldn't bring kids here, they'll be very bored. The best thing was that all of the workers I encountered were nice and helpful. Everything else I found to be very boring and quite overpriced. The driving simulation was kind of cool, but was quite far from a realistic experience overall.If the cost of admission was half of what they charge, I'd feel a bit more like I got my money's worth. Otherwise, it's just boring and overpriced. Plus you have to pay for parking too.

This place is fun for all! Knowledgeable about the sport and even had live simulators to enjoy from racing to pit stop challenges. Recommend getting the package to eat and enjoy free memorabilia and photos with crew or family

Pretty cool experience. I was able to go through a company party so everything was available for use. The driving simulation was really cool. You first qualify on a machine with a steering wheel and then you get in an actual life size Nascar and race with a screen in front of you. 16 people were able to race each other at once. They also had a tire changing challenge. The whole walkway up goes through all the degrees of the tracks. It was pretty cool. It also had a ton of memorabilia for Nascar fans.

Definitely a bucket list place for any NASCAR fan. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there. I arrived a little later on a Saturday (after lunch) and it wasn't crowded at all. Lots of history and memorabilia there, stuff going way back.

Best place for inspiration and race car fans. Their display was beautifully done and they speak for the self. I would recommend go spend atleast few mins to read story around it. Overall was very inspiring and motivational visit

Fantastic museum completely different than I was expecting.The cars are very well arranged, clean, all details and information about them with pictures and displays.Information about the roads where they race, angle of the road in all angles. Their car simulator is a must to do for if you want to have the feeling of drive those cars at high speed.They have a theater room to show movies of cars competition.Better yet, they have discounts for seniors.I recommend this place to all ages and gender.
