LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to a box truck fire near the northbound lanes of Interstate 27 between 34th Street and 50th Street Tuesday morning.
LFR said when crews arrived at the scene just after 8 a.m. the front cab of the truck was fully involved.
The far right lane on the northbound side was shut down and all other lanes are open for commute.
