Best Seats at Ryman Auditorium
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 4, Section 5, Section 12 and Section 13 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.

Balcony Sides Seating
Sections 9-10 and 15-16 are considered side balcony sections. These have more of an angle toward the stage than the center sections. Sections 10 and 15 are closer to the center and are the more preferable sections in this location. However, although sections 9 and 16 are all the way on the side, they still provide clearer views and a better experience than the back rows on the main floor. One of the reasons for this is that the performers for the Opry or any other performance are typically at the front of the stage which is in clear view. There is also a large projection streaming the show that is great to help follow small details happening on stage.
From these seats you can look around the auditorium and take in its beauty. The seats are pew style. If you are looking for leg room, Row A of the balcony is the only place you will find it at the Ryman Auditorium. Some of the cheapest seats for an Opry show will be in the back rows of the balcony. Typically, these are a great deal when compared to other seats and the experience they provide.
Main Floor Side Seating
There are four side sections 1-2 and 7-8. Similar to the seats center sections it is best to be located in the front half of the side sections. The best side seats are in rows B-M in sections 1-7. There will be an angle for some of the seats, but for most shows it will not impact the viewing experience. All seating is pew style which will be a tight fit for some.
There is only one way in and one way out of the auditorium. If you are someone who prefers not to walk far to your seats or will need to head out to the lobby frequently sections 7 and 8 are nearest to the exit whereas sections 1-2 are a much longer walk.

While the stage is in clear view for most seats, the overall experience of the Ryman beauty is minimized. For this reason, balcony seats are a great option in alternative to the back rows on the main floor.
